On dated 19/05/2023 case vide E-FIR No. 014646/23 PS Budh Vihar was registered on the complaint of Sh. Himanshu Satija in which he alleged that someone has stolen his car no. DL-7CU-8833, Eng. No. 43078, Ch. No. 33141 make Creta black colour. The investigation was taken up. During the course of investigation it was found that the complainant's mother was admitted in the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital Sec-5, Rohini, Delhi for treatment. The complainant had come to the hospital for taking care of his mother. He had parked his car in the parking of the hospital and handed over the key of the car to the guard at parking. After analysing CCTV cameras in the hospital it was found that one person entered in the hospital on a Scooty. He stole a key of a vehicle from a bag inside the hospital but he couldn't found the vehicle of which key was stolen and then the person exits from hospital on the Scooty. After some time, the same person re-entered the hospital on foot after changing his shirt. He went to the guard of the parking and told guard that he has given him a key of another vehicle by mistake. He had already earmarked a black color Creta bearing No. 8833. He told the guard a lie that his vehicle no. is 8833 a black colour Creta car. The guard believed him and gives him key of the said car. With the help of that key that person stole the above mentioned car and ran away from the hospital. On the basis of the CCTV footage and human intelligence, the said thief was identified as Manoj.
