It is possible that #artificialintelligence could add significant value to India's GDP by 2025. According to a report by the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) and consulting firm McKinsey, AI has the potential to add between $350 billion and $500 billion to India's GDP by 2025. This would represent a significant contribution to the country's economy and could help to drive growth and development in a number of industries.
Artificial intelligence is expected to add $967 billion to the #Indianeconomy by 2035, and around $450-500 billion to the nation’s GDP by 2025, accounting for 10 percent of the country’s target of $5 trillion GDP. Meanwhile, AI is expected to contribute $15.7 trillion to the global economy in 2030.
The report suggests that AI could be particularly valuable in industries such as healthcare, agriculture, education, and transportation. For example, AI could be used to improve healthcare outcomes by enabling better disease detection and diagnosis, while in agriculture it could help to increase crop yields and reduce waste.

India has reported the highest increase in the use of AI at 45%, as compared to other major economies (the US at 35%, the UK at 23 % and Japan at 28 %). In fact, AI startups in India attracted total funding of $836.3 million in 2020. Also, despite the total number of high-value funding shrinking, the companies that received funding almost doubled in 2020 compared to 2019. As per a study, Artificial Intelligence & Its role in Delivering Economic Value to Indian Enterprise, investment in AI has accelerated in India during the pandemic and the country has a potential to be a global epicentre of AI. At the same time, IT services and technology sectors contribute to more than 60% of the AI market, followed by BFSI, engineering and retail. The BFSI sector has recorded the highest adoption upto 20% due to increasing penetration of digital banking and cashless payments in India, whereas the energy and utilities and retail sectors have adopted upto 15% each with a lot of untapped market opportunities for AI penetrations, followed by pharma and healthcare, telecom, manufacturing and other key sectors.
Secondly, when we go by the statistics of IDC, global revenues for the artificial intelligence market, including software, hardware, and services, are expected to grow 16.4% y-o-y in 2021 to $327.5 billion. By 2024, the market is expected to surpass $500 billion with total revenues reaching an impressive $554.3 billion. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her.
