    आखिरकार लंबे इंतजार के बाद भारत-फ्रांस के बीच 36 राफेल विमानों की डील पर हस्ताक्षर हो गए हैं... भारत आए फ्रांस के रक्षा मंत्री ज्यां यीव ली ड्रियान और रक्षा मंत्री मनोहर पर्रिकर ने 59,000 करोड़ के इस समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए...यानी कि एक राफेल की कीमत हथियार सहित करीब 1600 करोड़ रुपये की पड़ेगी. आपको बता दें कि सौदे को लेकर शुरुआती बातचीत 1999 में हुई थी. लेकिन सौदा किसी न किसी वजह से अटका हुआ था.. जिसके बाद जब प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी डेढ़ साल पहले फ्रांस गए थे तब उन्होंने 36 राफेल विमान खरीदने की घोषणा की थी. राफेल लड़ाकू विमानों को फ्रांस की डसाल्ट एविएशन कंपनी बनाती है...ये राफेल ऊंचे इलाकों में लड़ने में माहिर हैं। राफेल एक मिनट में 60 हजार फुट की ऊंचाई तक जा सकता है। हालांकि अधिकतम भार उठाकर इसके उड़ने की क्षमता 24 हज़ार 500 किलोग्राम है।..राफेल की टॉप स्पीड 2,130 किमी प्रति घंटा है यही वजह है कि इसका नाम राफेल रखा गया। राफेल हवा से हवा और हवा से मैदान में मार कर सकता है। यह एयरक्राफ्ट एक समय में कई एक्शन कर सकता है जैसे हवा से हवा में मिसाइल से आक्रमण और फायरिंग..वहीं राफेल सौदे पर हस्ताक्षर होने के बाद ये विमान 26 महीने के अंदर यानी 2019 में आने शुरू हो जाएंगे।

    ഇതാകട്ടെ നിര്‍മിക്കാന്‍ വളരെ ചെലവേറിയതുമാണ്. അമേരിക്കന്‍ കമ്പനി ലോക്ഹീഡ് മാര്‍ട്ടിന്‍ (Lockheed Martin) ചെലവു കുറച്ച് ഒരു ഫൈബര്‍ ലേസര്‍ സിസ്റ്റം നിര്‍മിക്കുന്ന തിരക്കിലാണിപ്പോള്‍. ഇതിന്റെ ഡെമോ 2021ല്‍ നടത്താനാകുമെന്നാണ് കമ്പനി കരുതുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍, ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞര്‍ അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നത്, തങ്ങള്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ നിര്‍മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ലേസര്‍ ഡെസിഗ്നേറ്റര്‍ പോഡുകൾ‌ക്കു ചെലവു വളരെക്കുറവാണെന്നാണ്. ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ഏതു നീക്കത്തെയും നിമിഷ നേരത്തിനുള്ളിൽ നേരിടാൻ ശേഷിയുള്ളതാണ് ലേസർ ആയുധങ്ങൾ.ഏതു രാജ്യവും ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന അത്യാധുനികമായ ലേസർ ആയുധ സംവിധാനം നിർമിച്ചുകഴിഞ്ഞുവെന്നാണ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഡിഫന്‍സ് റിസര്‍ച് ആന്‍ഡ് ഡവലപ്‌മെന്റ് ഓര്‍ഗനൈസേഷന്‍ (ഡിആര്‍ഡിഒ) അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നത്.


    ലേസര്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ശത്രുരാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ ആയുധശേഖരത്തെ നശിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശേഷിയുള്ളതാണ് ഈ സംവിധാനം.

    ഇവ ഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഫൈറ്റര്‍ ജെറ്റ് വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഏതു കാലാവസ്ഥയിലും പകലെന്നോ രാത്രിയെന്നോ ഭേദമില്ലാതെ കൃത്യമായ ആക്രമണങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിയുമെന്നാണ് വിദഗ്ധർ പറയുന്നത്. ഇന്ത്യ നിര്‍മിച്ച തേജസ് (Tejas) യുദ്ധവിമാനങ്ങളുടെ ആക്രമണ ശേഷി ഇതോടെ പതിന്മടങ്ങു വർധിക്കുമെന്നാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷ. വിമാനത്തില്‍ പിടിപ്പിക്കാവുന്ന ഈ ഇന്‍ഫ്രാറെഡ് ടാര്‍ഗറ്റിങ് ആന്‍ഡ് നാവിഗേഷന്‍ പോഡുകൾ ഒരേസമയം ലേസര്‍ സെന്‍സറും ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളെ കൃത്യമായി ഉന്നംവയ്ക്കാനാവുന്ന ആയുധവുമാണ്. പറക്കലിനിടയില്‍ത്തന്നെ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ശേഖരിക്കുകയും ലക്ഷ്യം നിറവേറ്റുകയും ചെയ്യും. കരയിലെ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളെ കണ്ടെത്തി അവിടേക്ക് കൃത്യതയോടെ ലേസർ നിയന്ത്രിത ബോംബിടാൻ ഇവ ഉപയോഗിക്കാമെന്നാണ്ടെക് വിദഗ്ധർ പറയുന്നത്.
    ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ഈ സംവിധാനം വികസിപ്പിച്ച ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞർ പി. സുരേഷ് കുമാറും പ്രസാദും (N.N.S.S.R.K. Prasad), കെ. സന്തില്‍ കുമാറും ഇതിന്റെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനശേഷി വിലയിരുത്തി. ലേസർ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് വര്‍ഷിക്കുന്ന ബോംബുകള്‍ക്ക് ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഏകദേശം 2.3 മീറ്ററിന്റെ കൃത്യതക്കുറവു മാത്രമെ അവര്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയുള്ളു.

Although no longer being purchased by the U.S. Air Force, improved versions are still being built for export customers.

Two Pakistani fighters were detected on Tuesday night going supersonic 10 kms from the Line of Control (LoC) within the territory of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in Poonch sector, following which India has put its air defence systems on high alert, government sources said on Wednesday. In the wake of the development, all Indian air defences and radar systems are on high alert, the sources said.

    ഇവ ഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഫൈറ്റര്‍ ജെറ്റ് വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഏതു കാലാവസ്ഥയിലും പകലെന്നോ രാത്രിയെന്നോ ഭേദമില്ലാതെ കൃത്യമായ ആക്രമണങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിയുമെന്നാണ് വിദഗ്ധർ പറയുന്നത്. ഇന്ത്യ നിര്‍മിച്ച തേജസ് (Tejas) യുദ്ധവിമാനങ്ങളുടെ ആക്രമണ ശേഷി ഇതോടെ പതിന്മടങ്ങു വർധിക്കുമെന്നാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷ. വിമാനത്തില്‍ പിടിപ്പിക്കാവുന്ന ഈ ഇന്‍ഫ്രാറെഡ് ടാര്‍ഗറ്റിങ് ആന്‍ഡ് നാവിഗേഷന്‍ പോഡുകൾ ഒരേസമയം ലേസര്‍ സെന്‍സറും ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളെ കൃത്യമായി ഉന്നംവയ്ക്കാനാവുന്ന ആയുധവുമാണ്. പറക്കലിനിടയില്‍ത്തന്നെ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ശേഖരിക്കുകയും ലക്ഷ്യം നിറവേറ്റുകയും ചെയ്യും. കരയിലെ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളെ കണ്ടെത്തി അവിടേക്ക് കൃത്യതയോടെ ലേസർ നിയന്ത്രിത ബോംബിടാൻ ഇവ ഉപയോഗിക്കാമെന്നാണ്ടെക് വിദഗ്ധർ പറയുന്നത്.
    ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ഈ സംവിധാനം വികസിപ്പിച്ച ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞർ പി. സുരേഷ് കുമാറും പ്രസാദും (N.N.S.S.R.K. Prasad), കെ. സന്തില്‍ കുമാറും ഇതിന്റെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനശേഷി വിലയിരുത്തി. ലേസർ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് വര്‍ഷിക്കുന്ന ബോംബുകള്‍ക്ക് ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഏകദേശം 2.3 മീറ്ററിന്റെ കൃത്യതക്കുറവു മാത്രമെ അവര്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയുള്ളു.
