കഴിഞ്ഞ മൂന്ന് വര്‍ഷത്തിനിടെ ആഭ്യന്തര യുദ്ധം രൂക്ഷമായ യമനില്‍ പട്ടിണി മൂലം 85,000 കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്‍ മരിച്ചുവെന്ന് കണക്കുകള്‍.ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്ര സഭയുടെ കണക്കുകള്‍ അടിസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തി ''സേവ് ദി ചില്‍ഡ്രന്‍'' എന്ന സന്നദ്ധ സംഘടന നടത്തിയ പഠനത്തിലാണ് ഞെട്ടിക്കുന്ന ഈ കണക്കുകള്‍ പുറത്തുവന്നത്. അഞ്ച് വയസ്സില്‍ താഴെയുള്ള ലക്ഷക്കണക്കിന് യമന്‍കാരായ കുട്ടികള്‍ പോഷകാഹാര കുറവ് മൂലം മാരകമായ രോഗങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അടിപ്പെടുന്നതായും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുന്നു. 2015 ഏപ്രിലിനും 2018 ഒക്ടോബറിനും ഇടയില്‍ യമനില്‍ 84,701 കുട്ടികള്‍ പട്ടിണി കിടന്ന് മരിച്ചുവെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടിലുള്ളത്.ഭക്ഷണമില്ലാതെ കുട്ടികളുടെ ആന്തരീകാവയങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം സാവധാനം കുറഞ്ഞുവരികയും തുടര്‍ന്ന് പൂര്‍ണമായും നിശ്ചലമായി മരിക്കുകയുമാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. തന്ത്രപ്രധാനമായ ഹുദൈദ തുറമുഖം വിമതരുടെ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിലാണ്. ഇതുമൂലം ഇതുവഴിയുള്ള ചരക്ക് കൈമാറ്റത്തില്‍ ഗണ്യമായ കുറവാണ് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്.യമനിലെ ആഭ്യന്തര യുദ്ധം തുടങ്ങി ഇതുവരെ പതിനായിരത്തിലേറെ പേര്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടുവെന്ന് ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടന പറയുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ യഥാര്‍ഥ മരണ നിരക്ക് ഇതിലും എത്രയോ വലുതാകുമെന്ന് യമനിലെ സന്നദ്ധ സംഘടനകള്‍ പറയുന്നു.തന്ത്രപ്രധാനമായ ഹുദൈദ തുറമുഖത്തിന് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള പോരാട്ടം ഇപ്പോഴും തുടരുകയാണ്. ഇനിയും പോഷകാഹാര കുറവിന് പരിഹാരം കണ്ടില്ലെങ്കില്‍ യമനിലെ കുട്ടികള്‍ വലിയ ദുരന്തമുഖത്തേക്ക് നീങ്ങുമെന്നും പ്രസ്താവനയില്‍ പറയുന്നു.

The parents of Adam Lanza were separated. It is understood the father is being interveiwed by police.
10.37am: A law enforcement official briefed on the investigation of the Connecticut school massacre says the brother of the gunman has been ``extremely cooperative'' and is not under arrest.The official told The Associated Press that Ryan Lanza, of Hoboken, New Jersey, is still be being questioned but is not in custody and is not believed to have any connection to the school killings.
But American television showed images of Ryan lanza in handcuffs with police officers.

ഗോരഖ്പുരില്‍ ഓക്സിജന്‍ ലഭിക്കാതെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്‍ കൂട്ടത്തോടെ മരിച്ച സംഭവം യോഗി ആദിത്യനാഥ് അടക്കമുള്ളവര്‍ ശത്രുക്കളോടെന്ന പോലെയാണു പെരുമാറിയതെന്ന് ശിശുരോഗ വിദഗ്ധൻ .യുപി മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി യോഗി ആദിത്യനാഥിന്റെ മണ്ഡലമായ ഗോരഖ്പുരിലെ സർക്കാർ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ഓക്സിജൻ വിതരണം നിലച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്ന് 63 കുട്ടികൾ മരിച്ച സംഭവവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് അറസ്റ്റിലായ കഫീൽ ഖാന് ഏഴു മാസത്തിനുശേഷമാണു ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചത്. ജാമ്യത്തിലിറങ്ങിയ ശേഷം ഡൽഹിയിൽ മാധ്യമങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു ഡോ. കഫീല്‍ ഖാന്. രക്ഷിക്കാന് ശ്രമിച്ച തന്നെ ശിക്ഷിക്കുകയാണ്ടായതെന്നു പറഞ്ഞാണു കഫീല്‍ ഖാന് സംസാരിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയത്. ഉത്തര്‍പ്രദേശ് സര്‍ക്കാറും ആശുപത്രി അധികൃതരുമടക്കം ആരും ഒപ്പംനിന്നില്ല. അവസാനനിമിഷവും ഒരോ കുട്ടിയെയും രക്ഷിക്കാന് മാത്രമാണു താനുള്‍പ്പടെയുള്ളവര്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചതെന്നും ഡോക്ടര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.നിലവില്‍ സസ്പെന്‍ഷനിലുള്ള താന്‍ അടക്കമുള്ളവരെ തിരിച്ചെടുത്തില്ലെങ്കില്‍ സ്വന്തമായി ആശുപത്രിയാരംഭിക്കുമെന്നും കഫീൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

The parents of Adam Lanza were separated. It is understood the father is being interveiwed by police.
10.37am: A law enforcement official briefed on the investigation of the Connecticut school massacre says the brother of the gunman has been ``extremely cooperative'' and is not under arrest.The official told The Associated Press that Ryan Lanza, of Hoboken, New Jersey, is still be being questioned but is not in custody and is not believed to have any connection to the school killings.
But American television showed images of Ryan lanza in handcuffs with police officers.

In the video, the man is heard saying that he got oxygen supply from patients snapped for 5 mins. The man, in the video, added that this was part of an experiment to know who all will survive. Reports suggest the video is purportedly of Arinjay Jain, owner of Paras Hospital on NH 2. UP health dept has ordered a probe into the incident after the video went viral.
