She makes small balls out of mashed and seasoned potatoes and fills them in the dough before flattening out the dough and cooking it on a skillet. See her share her magical parathas with us.

Stuffing/Filling:
Dried Mint Powder
Optional- Salt and pepper
Method: Make Lachha parantha as shown in the video by using cone method and flatten it out. Roll it in mint powder and use rolling pin to flatten out the dough. Once the dough is flattened out and thin..cook on a hot skillet with tons of butter/ghee or oil until both sides have brown marks.. Enjoy with pickle, yogurt, chutney or with cup of hot Chai.

Be it kids or elders, everyone like dishes made with potatoes(aloo). Aloo curry is made in various ways. Today we will be making Dahi- Aloo or Aloo Rasa, you will definitely like this curry.
So let us start the preparation.
How to make Dahi ke aloo
Potatoes - 500 grams (6-7 medium sized)
Curd - 200 grams ( 1 cup)
Oil -1 to 2 tbsp
Heeng(asafoetida) - 1 pinch
Jeera(cumin seeds) - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander(dhaniya) powder - 1 tsp
Gram flour(besan) - 2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
Green chilly - 1 to 2 (finely chopped)
Salt - add to taste (1 tsp)
Green coriander - 1/2 small bowl (finely chopped)
How to make Dahi ke aloo
Wash and put the potatoes in a cooker to boil After they cool down peel the potatoes and break them into fat pieces.
Pour oil in a frying pan(kadhai) and heat, put Heeng and Jeera in hot oil. On ce Jeera is roasted add turmeric powder, coriander powder and gram flour. Gently stir fry these ingredients. Put potatoes and red chilly powder in the pan stir fry for another 2-3 minutes till potatoes are coated with spices all over. Pour 2-3 cups of water, cover the pan and cook the curry till it comes to boil.
Take out curd from the fridge 30 minutes earlier then beat it.

Aloo Methi is a popular Punjabi dish that is also very healthy. Methi has a tangy, bitter taste and has been proven to lower blood sugar in diabetics. Serve with raita and ghee-on-top chapati.
Preperation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Total Time : 25 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 2 people
1 tbsp ghee or vegetable oil
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp haldi
2 tsp tomato puree or half tomato, chopped
3-4 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
2 cups methi leaves
Salt to taste
Water as needed
Juice of half lemon to sprinkle on top
Coriander leaves for garnish
Preparation method
1. In a shallow pan or kadahi, heat ghee over medium heat. Add jeera. When it crackles, add haldi. Add tomato. If using puree, dilute in 1 tsp of water. Cook for 5 minutes.
2. Add potatoes. Cook on medium to low heat for 10 minutes, till they get soft. Add methi leaves. Cook for another 5 minutes, till methi leaves wilt. Put in a tbsp of water. Cover and cook for 5-10 minutes, till methi starts smelling fragrant. Add salt.
3. Mix aloo and methi well. Sprinkle with lemon juice and garnish with coriander.

Potatoes are a prime favourite and a staple part of our family diet and we have found various ways of cooking them palatably.This is a gravy dish with a thin gravy is very popular in North India from where it originates.
Preparation Time: 10 Mins
Cooking Time: 10 Mins
Number of Servings: 2
Ingredients for Aloo Tamatar Curry:
1. Potatos 2 medium size skinned and cubed (I prefer to use white skin potatoes as they taste better)
2. Tomatos 4 medium size chopped (Preferably tomatoes on the vein or plum kind)
3. Red chili pwd 2 tbsp
4. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
5. Coriander leaves 2 tbsp chopped
6. Red onion finely chopped
7. Ginger-Garlic paste 1 1/2 tsp.
8. Salt to taste.
9. Oil 2 tbsp.
How to make Aloo Tamatar Curry:
1. Heat oil and add chopped onion, let it fry till translucent.
2. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for another 1 min, then add turmeric pwd followed by potato cubes, fry them for a while.
3. Add chopped tomatoes with coriander leaves and salt.
4. Put the lid and make the stove in between to simmer and medium flame. (If you are using a pressure cooker, then put it on medium flame for 2 whistles)
5. Check it after 5 mins and see if the potato cubes are cooked ,then open the lid and cook for few moreদ্বারা vandana| 1717 দর্শনসমূহ

Servings - 3-4
INGREDIENTS
Wheat flour - 250 grams
Refined flour - 50 grams
Water - 100 milliliters
Ghee - 2 tablespoons, divided
Coriander seeds - 1 tablespoon
Onion - 50 grams
Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoon
Mango powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Boiled mashed potatoes - 500 grams
Green chili - 1 tablespoon
Fresh coriander - 2 tablespoons
Fresh yogurt - for serving
Butter - for serving
PREPARATION
Wheat dough:
1. In a bowl take 250 grams of whole wheat flour, 50 grams refined flour and mix them well.
2. Add 100 milliliters of the water. Bring the mixture together and knead into a smooth soft dough.
3. Keep the dough aside for 10 to 20 minutes.
Potato stuffing:
1. In a heavy skillet add 1 tablespoon of ghee, 1 tablespoon coriander seeds, 50 grams onion and stir till color becomes light brown.
2. Add 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 tsp mango powder and stir for 2-3 minutes.
3. Now add 500 grams of boiled mashed potatoes, 1 tablespoon green chili, 2 tablespoon coriander and mix the mixture well over low heat.
Paratha :
1. Take a medium size ball from the dough. (see video)
2. Roll the balls into small circles.
3. Place few tablespoons of the potato stuffing on the dough circle. Seal the edges completely so that potato stuffing does not come out.
