    പാക് ബാലികയെ പീഡിപ്പിച്ചു കൊന്നയാള്‍ക്ക് നാല് വധശിക്ഷയുമായി കോടതിയുടെ അപൂര്‍വ്വ വിധി. ഏഴ് വയസ്സുകാരിയെ അതി ക്രൂരമായി ബലാത്‌സംഗം ചെയ്ത് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയ കസൂര്‍ സ്വദേശിയായ ഇമ്രാന്‍ അലിയെ(24)യാണ് ലാഹോറിലെ തീവ്രവാദ വിരുദ്ധ കോടതി വധശിക്ഷയ്ക്ക് വിധിച്ചത്. തട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകല്‍, ബലാത്സംഗം, കൊലപാതകം, തീവ്രവാദം എന്നീ കുറ്റങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നാല് വധശിക്ഷയാണ് ഇയാള്‍ക്കു കോടതി വിധിച്ചത്. വധശിക്ഷയ്‌ക്കൊപ്പം ജീവപര്യന്തം തടവിനും ഏഴ് വര്‍ഷത്തെ തടവിനും കോടതി വിധിച്ചു. 32 ലക്ഷം പിഴയും കോടതി ചുമത്തി. ലാഹോറിലെ കസൂരില്‍ ജനുവരി ഒമ്പതിനാണ് ഏഴു വയസ്സുകാരിയെ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട നിലയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത്.

    ഗുജറാത്തിലെ ഗോധ്‌രയിൽ 2002ൽ സബർമതി എക്സ്പ്രസ് ട്രെയിനിനു തീവച്ചു കൂട്ടക്കൊല നടത്തിയ കേസിൽ 11 പേരുടെ വധശിക്ഷ ജീവപര്യന്തമാക്കിക്കുറച്ചു.
    കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ ബന്ധുക്കൾക്ക് 10 ലക്ഷം രൂപ വീതം സർക്കാർ നൽകണം. കർസേവകരാണ് കൂടുതലും കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്. സർക്കാരിനു ക്രമസമാധാനം ഉറപ്പുവരുത്താനിയില്ലെന്നും ഹൈക്കോടതി വിധിന്യായത്തിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. അതേസമയം, മറ്റ് 20 പേരുടെ ജീവപര്യന്തം ശിക്ഷ കോടതി നിലനിർത്തി.
    31 പേരെ ശിക്ഷിക്കുകയും 63 പേരെ വെറുതേ വിടുകയും ചെയ്ത പ്രത്യേക കോടതിയുടെ വിധിക്കെതിരെയുള്ള അപ്പീലുകളിന്മേലാണു ഗുജറാത്ത് ഹൈക്കോടതി കോടതി വിധി പറഞ്ഞത്.

All the four convicts - Akshay Thakur, Vinay Sharma, Mukesh Singh and Pawan Gupta - in the December 16, 2012 gangrape and murder of a 23-year-old physiotherapy student inside a private bus in Delhi have been sentenced to death by the Saket fast track trial court. Immediately after the sentence was announced all convicts broke down in the court while there were celebrations among anti-rape protesters outside the Saket court complex.

The death penalty has been awarded under Section 302 (murder) as the braveheart had died due to the injuries inflicted by the convicts. The judge Yogesh Khanna called it a rarest of rare case and said that looking at the gravity of the incident and inhuman torture, it is death penalty to all.
