CBSE Board Exams 2021: Class 10th board exams canceled, 12th postponed
After a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Education has decided to postpone the class 12 exams and cancel the class 10 board exams. For CBSE class 12 boards, the situation will be reviewed on June 1 and revised dates will be announced thereafter.

സിബിഎസ്ഇ 10, 12 ക്ലാസുകളിലെ പരീക്ഷകള്‍ നേരത്തെ നടത്താന്‍ തീരുമാനം
പരീക്ഷകള്‍ 2019 ഫെബ്രുവരിയില്‍ ആരംഭിക്കാനാണ് തീരുമാനം
ഈ അധ്യായന വര്‍ഷത്തെ സിബിഎസ്ഇ 10, 12 ക്ലാസുകളിലെ പരീക്ഷകള്‍ നേരത്തെ നടത്താന്‍ തീരുമാനം. പരീക്ഷകള്‍ 2019 ഫെബ്രുവരിയില്‍ ആരംഭിക്കാനാണ് തീരുമാനം. സമ്പൂര്‍ണ പരീക്ഷാക്രമം അടുത്തയാഴ്ചയോടെ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുമെന്ന് സെന്‍ട്രല്‍ ബോര്‍ഡ് അറിയിച്ചു. ഡല്‍ഹി ഹൈക്കോടതി ഉത്തരവിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലാണ് ഇത്തവണ പരീക്ഷ നേരത്തെയാക്കിയത്.
സിബിഎസ്ഇ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെ കോളെജ് പ്രവേശനത്തിന് കാലതാമസം നേരിടുന്ന സാഹചര്യം കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് 2018 ജുലൈ 11നാണ് ഡല്‍ഹി ഹൈക്കോടതി പരീക്ഷ നേരത്തെയാക്കണമെന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് പ്രത്യേക ഉത്തരവിറക്കിയത്. കോടതി ഉത്തരവ് അനുസരിച്ച് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കാന്‍ സെന്‍ട്രല്‍ ബോര്‍ഡിനും ഡല്‍ഹി യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റിക്കും മാനവ വിഭവശേഷി മന്ത്രി പ്രകാശ് ജാവേദ്ക്കര്‍ നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കിയിരുന്നു.
40ഓളം വൊക്കേഷണല്‍ സബ്ജക്റ്റുകള്‍ക്കു പുറമെ റ്റൈപ്പോഗ്രാഫി, കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര്‍ ആപ്ലിക്കേഷന്‍, വെബ് ആപ്ലിക്കേഷന്‍, ഗ്രാഫിക്‌സ്, ഓഫീസ് കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേഷന്‍ എന്നി വിഷയങ്ങളിലും പരീക്ഷകള്‍ ഫെബ്രുവരിയില്‍ നടക്കും.

सीबीएससी स्कूलों में दसवीं की बोर्ड परीक्षा 2017-18 से फिर से शुरू की जायेगी... केन्द्रीय मानव संसाधन मंत्री प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने जयपुर में राज्य के शिक्षा मंत्री के साथ बैठक के बाद ये जानकारी दी,,,प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने कहा है कि पांचवी और आठवीं कक्षा की बोर्ड परीक्षाएं भी होंगी, लेकिन इसका फैसला राज्य सरकारें लेंगी. इस बारे में प्रस्ताव पहले कैबिनेट में लाया जाएगा और बाद में संसद से कानून पास किया जाएगा...लेकिन राज्य सरकार इस पर अंतिम फैसला लेंगीं...वो चाहे तो परीक्षा लें और चाहे तो ना लें। आपको बता दें कि 2010 में जब कपिल सिब्बल देश के शिक्षा मंत्री थे, तब उन्होंने सीबीएसई बोर्ड परीक्षा को वैकल्पिक बनाया था। इसके पीछे मकसद था बच्चों में बढ़ते तनाव को दूर करना। अभी जो व्यवस्था है उसमें...सालभर के प्रदर्शन के आधार पर बच्चों की ग्रेडिंग की जाती है....किसी को भी फेल नहीं किया जाता है...CBSE में सीधे बारहवीं में ही बोर्ड परीक्षा होती है और बच्चों को नंबर देकर पास या फेल किया जाता है...लेकिन इस सिस्टम के आने के बाद शिकायतें मिलने लगीं कि बच्चों में शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता का स्तर गिर रहा है। दिल्ली समेत ज्यादातर राज्यों ने भी दसवीं की बोर्ड परीक्षा को फिर से अनिवार्य करने की मांग की है. इसके बाद ही केंद्र सरकार नए बदलाव के लिए तैयार हुई है।

ग्रेडिंग सिस्टम को खत्म करते हुए सीबीएसई ने फिर से दसवीं बोर्ड की परीक्षा शुरू करने का फैसला किया है। यानी अगले सत्र 2018 से दसवीं की कक्षा में पढ़ रहे छात्रों को बोर्ड परीक्षा देनी होगी। नए नियमों के मुताबिक 80 फीसदी अंक इम्तिहान के होंगे और 20 फीसदी स्कूल में हुई परीक्षा के। इसके साथ ही सीबीएसई ने केंद्र सरकार से हिंदी, अंग्रेजी और आधुनिक भारतीय भाषा पढ़ाने के त्रिभाषा फॉर्मूले को 9वीं और 10वीं कक्षा में शामिल किए जाने की सिफारिश की है। आपको बता दें कि साल 2011 से सीबीएसई ने दसवीं कक्षा के बोर्ड एग्जािम को वैकल्पिक कर दिया था। इसके मुताबिक उच्च माध्यमिक में पढ़ने वाले छात्रों के पास परीक्षा में बैठने या नहीं बैठने का विकल्प था। लेकिन सीबीएसई की ओर से कराए गए एक सर्वे में ज्यानदातर लोगों ने इस बात पर सहमति जताई कि दसवीं का बोर्ड एग्जाेम अनिवार्य होना चाहिए। दरअसल राज्य सरकारों, छात्रों और अभिभावकों समेत शिक्षाविद्धों ने परीक्षा खत्म होने से शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता में आई गिरावट पर चिंता जाहिर की थी।

A high-level meeting was held today to discuss the conduct of CBSE exams for Class XII and entrance examinations for professional courses. The Education Ministers of States and Union Territories, Education Secretaries and Chairpersons of State Examination Boards and stakeholders, in presence of Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Prakash Javadekar, Smriti Irani attended the meeting. Education Minister Nishank tweeted, "no decision on cbse board exams for Class 12 in today's meeting. State govts. given time till May 25 to send their suggestions." As per sources, most states are said to have favoured a 90-minute, in-school and short-answer-type exam for 19 major subjects in the meeting held today. The Centre will take a final view on the exam format and dates within the next few days.

CBSE Class 12th exams: SC gives 2 weeks to Board to come out with alternative assessment mechanism
The Supreme Court on Thursday said that it is happy to note that the government has taken a decision to cancel the class 12 board exams, and directed the CBSE and CICSE to place on record objective criteria for assessment of marks in two weeks. A bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari asked Attorney General K K Venugopal and advocate JK Das, appearing for the CISCE to place on record the parameters in two weeks.

ग्रेडिंग सिस्टम को खत्म करते हुए सीबीएसई ने फिर से दसवीं बोर्ड की परीक्षा शुरू करने का फैसला किया है। यानी अगले सत्र 2018 से दसवीं की कक्षा में पढ़ रहे छात्रों को बोर्ड परीक्षा देनी होगी। नए नियमों के मुताबिक 80 फीसदी अंक इम्तिहान के होंगे और 20 फीसदी स्कूल में हुई परीक्षा के। इसके साथ ही सीबीएसई ने केंद्र सरकार से हिंदी, अंग्रेजी और आधुनिक भारतीय भाषा पढ़ाने के त्रिभाषा फॉर्मूले को 9वीं और 10वीं कक्षा में शामिल किए जाने की सिफारिश की है। आपको बता दें कि साल 2011 से सीबीएसई ने दसवीं कक्षा के बोर्ड एग्जािम को वैकल्पिक कर दिया था। इसके मुताबिक उच्च माध्यमिक में पढ़ने वाले छात्रों के पास परीक्षा में बैठने या नहीं बैठने का विकल्प था। लेकिन सीबीएसई की ओर से कराए गए एक सर्वे में ज्यानदातर लोगों ने इस बात पर सहमति जताई कि दसवीं का बोर्ड एग्जाेम अनिवार्य होना चाहिए। दरअसल राज्य सरकारों, छात्रों और अभिभावकों समेत शिक्षाविद्धों ने परीक्षा खत्म होने से शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता में आई गिरावट पर चिंता जाहिर की थी।

A high-level meeting was held today to discuss the conduct of CBSE exams for Class XII and entrance examinations for professional courses. The Education Ministers of States and Union Territories, Education Secretaries and Chairpersons of State Examination Boards and stakeholders, in presence of Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Prakash Javadekar, Smriti Irani attended the meeting. Education Minister Nishank tweeted, "no decision on cbse board exams for Class 12 in today's meeting. State govts. given time till May 25 to send their suggestions." As per sources, most states are said to have favoured a 90-minute, in-school and short-answer-type exam for 19 major subjects in the meeting held today. The Centre will take a final view on the exam format and dates within the next few days.

CBSE Class 12th exams: SC gives 2 weeks to Board to come out with alternative assessment mechanism
The Supreme Court on Thursday said that it is happy to note that the government has taken a decision to cancel the class 12 board exams, and directed the CBSE and CICSE to place on record objective criteria for assessment of marks in two weeks. A bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari asked Attorney General K K Venugopal and advocate JK Das, appearing for the CISCE to place on record the parameters in two weeks.
