    കന്യാസ്ത്രീയാകാൻ മഠത്തിൽ ചേർന്ന കാലത്ത് തനിച്ചായ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ വൈദികനായ ഒരാൾ കടന്നുപിടിച്ചു. കുതറി രക്ഷപ്പെട്ട തന്റെ അവസ്ഥ ഏറെ പരിതാപകരമായിരുന്നു. പ്രായത്തിൽ മുതിർന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഒരിക്കൽ പോലും അതു പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നില്ലെന്നു ദയാബായി .സംഭവിച്ചതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് മഠത്തിൽ ആരോടും ഒന്നും പറയാൻ കഴിയില്ലായിരുന്നു. ശരീരത്തിൽ സ്വയം പൊള്ളലേൽപ്പിക്കുകയെന്ന മാർഗം മാത്രമാണ് മുന്നിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന വഴി ഇതിനായി മെഴുകുതി ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ശരീരഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ പൊള്ളലേൽപ്പിക്കുമായിരുന്നു. മുറിവുകള്‍ വ്രണമാകുമ്പോഴെങ്കിലും തന്നെ വെറുതെ വിടുമല്ലോ എന്നു കരുതി. പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹം വിളിപ്പിച്ചാൽ ഒരിക്കൽ പോലും അങ്ങോട്ടേക്ക് പോകില്ലായിരുന്നു. നിർബന്ധങ്ങൾ പ്രതിരോധിച്ചപ്പോൾ ചില കന്യാസ്ത്രീകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ മാനസികമായി പീഡിപ്പിച്ചുവെന്നും അവർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.കുറവിലങ്ങാട്ടെ കന്യാസ്ത്രീ 13 തവണ പീഡിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടപ്പോഴും പുറത്ത് പറയാത്തത് അത്തരമൊരു സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ ആരോടും അങ്ങനെ പറയാൻ കഴിയില്ലെന്നാണ് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നത്. എന്റെ അനുഭവം തന്നെ നോക്കിയാൽ ഒരിക്കലും നമുക്ക് അതിനു സാധിക്കില്ലെന്നു പറയാൻ കഴിയും. മഠത്തിലാണെങ്കിലും അതിന് അനുകൂലമായ അവസ്ഥയുണ്ടായികില്ല. എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ പല മഠങ്ങളിലും സന്തോഷകരമായ പരിതസ്ഥിതിയാണുള്ളത്. അടുപ്പമുള്ള ആരോടെങ്കിലും നമുക്ക് ഇതു പറയാൻ കഴിയുമായിരിക്കും. തന്നോട് അടുപ്പമുള്ള കന്യാസ്ത്രീകളിൽ ചിലർ ഇതു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്, കുമ്പസാരക്കൂട്ടിൽ പോലും ഇത്തരം അനുഭവങ്ങൾ നമുക്ക് വെളിപ്പെടുത്താൻ സാധിക്കില്ല – ദയാബായി കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

    കന്യാസ്ത്രീയാകാൻ മഠത്തിൽ ചേർന്ന കാലത്ത് തനിച്ചായ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ വൈദികനായ ഒരാൾ കടന്നുപിടിച്ചു. കുതറി രക്ഷപ്പെട്ട തന്റെ അവസ്ഥ ഏറെ പരിതാപകരമായിരുന്നു. പ്രായത്തിൽ മുതിർന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഒരിക്കൽ പോലും അതു പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നില്ലെന്നു ദയാബായി .സംഭവിച്ചതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് മഠത്തിൽ ആരോടും ഒന്നും പറയാൻ കഴിയില്ലായിരുന്നു. ശരീരത്തിൽ സ്വയം പൊള്ളലേൽപ്പിക്കുകയെന്ന മാർഗം മാത്രമാണ് മുന്നിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന വഴി ഇതിനായി മെഴുകുതി ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ശരീരഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ പൊള്ളലേൽപ്പിക്കുമായിരുന്നു. മുറിവുകള്‍ വ്രണമാകുമ്പോഴെങ്കിലും തന്നെ വെറുതെ വിടുമല്ലോ എന്നു കരുതി. പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹം വിളിപ്പിച്ചാൽ ഒരിക്കൽ പോലും അങ്ങോട്ടേക്ക് പോകില്ലായിരുന്നു. നിർബന്ധങ്ങൾ പ്രതിരോധിച്ചപ്പോൾ ചില കന്യാസ്ത്രീകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ മാനസികമായി പീഡിപ്പിച്ചുവെന്നും അവർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.കുറവിലങ്ങാട്ടെ കന്യാസ്ത്രീ 13 തവണ പീഡിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടപ്പോഴും പുറത്ത് പറയാത്തത് അത്തരമൊരു സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ ആരോടും അങ്ങനെ പറയാൻ കഴിയില്ലെന്നാണ് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നത്. എന്റെ അനുഭവം തന്നെ നോക്കിയാൽ ഒരിക്കലും നമുക്ക് അതിനു സാധിക്കില്ലെന്നു പറയാൻ കഴിയും. മഠത്തിലാണെങ്കിലും അതിന് അനുകൂലമായ അവസ്ഥയുണ്ടായികില്ല. എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ പല മഠങ്ങളിലും സന്തോഷകരമായ പരിതസ്ഥിതിയാണുള്ളത്. അടുപ്പമുള്ള ആരോടെങ്കിലും നമുക്ക് ഇതു പറയാൻ കഴിയുമായിരിക്കും. തന്നോട് അടുപ്പമുള്ള കന്യാസ്ത്രീകളിൽ ചിലർ ഇതു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്, കുമ്പസാരക്കൂട്ടിൽ പോലും ഇത്തരം അനുഭവങ്ങൾ നമുക്ക് വെളിപ്പെടുത്താൻ സാധിക്കില്ല – ദയാബായി കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.
