वाराणसी के लंका थाना इलाके के रोहित नगर के मकानों के मलबे में 126 प्राचीन खंडित शिवलिंग और मूर्तियों के अवशेष मिलने से सनसनी है। हिंदू धर्मावलंबी इस घटना से आक्रोशित हैं। साथ ही राज्य की सरकार पर तरह तरह के आरोप लगाए जा रहे हैं।
