    എല്ലാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകളിലും വോട്ട് ചെയാൻ ഒരു വോട്ടർ മാത്രം എന്ന പ്രത്യേകതയാണ് മുറിക്കൽ ദ്വീപിനുള്ളത് . കടമക്കുടി പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ ദ്വീപ് സമൂഹങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ് ജോസഫ് മാത്രം താമസിക്കുന്ന മുറിക്കല്‍ ദ്വീപ്.എല്ലാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകളിലും നൂറുശതമാനം വോട്ട് ലഭിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലമാണ് മുറിക്കൽ ദ്വീപ്.ഇവിടുത്തെ ഏക വോട്ടറാണ് ജോസഫ് .
    ഇത്തവണയും അതിന് മാറ്റമുണ്ടാകില്ലെന്നാണ് ദ്വീപിലെ ഏക വോട്ടറായ 68 കാരൻ ജോസഫ് പറയുന്നത്.രണ്ടര ഏക്കര്‍ വിസ്തൃതിയുള്ള ദ്വീപിലെ ഏക വോട്ടറും ജോസഫ് ആണ് . മുറിക്കലില്‍ ഒറ്റയ്ക്ക്‌ കഴിയുന്ന ജോസഫിനെ തേടി ഒരു പാര്‍ട്ടിയുടെയും ആളുകള്‍ എത്താറില്ല . എങ്കിലും കൃത്യമായ രാഷ്ട്രീയ നിലപാടുകളുള്ള ജോസഫ് ഇതുവരെ വോട്ട് മുടക്കിയിട്ടുമില്ല . ദ്വീപിൽ നിന്ന് മറുകരയിലുള്ള കടമക്കുടി ഗവ. വൊക്കേഷണല്‍ ഹയര്‍ സെക്കൻഡറി സ്കൂളിലെ പോളിങ് ബൂത്തിലെത്തി സ്ഥിരമായി വോട്ട് ചെയ്യും. അത് ഇക്കുറിയും തെറ്റിക്കില്ലെന്നും ജോസഫ് പറയുന്നു.ദ്വീപില്‍ മറ്റ് വോട്ടര്‍മാരില്ലാത്തതാകാം ആരും വരാത്തതിനുള്ള കാരണമെന്നാണ് ജോസഫ് പറയുന്നത്.ഒരു പാർട്ടി പ്രവർത്തകരും ആരും തിരക്കി ചെന്നില്ലെങ്കിലും ജോസഫ് വോട്ട് മുടക്കില്ലെന്ന ഉറപ്പും പാര്‍ട്ടിക്കാര്‍ക്കുണ്ട്. സ്ഥാനാര്‍ഥികളോ അവരുടെ പ്രതിനിധികളോ ആരും ദ്വീപില്‍ എത്തുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലും കാര്യങ്ങളൊക്കെ ജോസഫ് കൃത്യമായി അറിയുകയും വിലയിരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്.സ്ഥാനാര്‍ഥികളായവര്‍ മുന്‍കാല തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകളില്‍ നല്‍കിയ വാഗ്ദാനങ്ങളും അതില്‍ പലതും നിറവേറ്റാത്തതുമൊക്കെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് കൃത്യമായി അറിയാം . തനിക്ക് വ്യക്തിപരമായി പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ആവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നുംതന്നെ ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും ദ്വീപുകളുടെ പൊതുവായ വികസനകാര്യത്തില്‍ കാര്യമായ പരിഗണന കിട്ടുന്നില്ലെന്ന പരാതി ജോസഫിനുണ്ട്. ഗതാഗതസൗകര്യത്തിനുള്ള മാര്‍ഗം ഒരുക്കുന്നതില്‍ വന്നിട്ടുള്ള വീഴ്ചയാണതില്‍ പ്രധാനം. പ്രകൃതിദത്തമായി കിട്ടിയ ദ്വീപുകളുടെ സൗന്ദര്യം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്താതെ തന്നെ, ടൂറിസം സാധ്യത പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതുള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ പരിഗണിക്കാത്തത് ദ്വീപുകളുടെ പൊതുവായ വികസനത്തിന് തടസ്സമായിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും ജോസഫ് പറയുന്നു.ദ്വീപുകളെ തമ്മില്‍ ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള സഞ്ചാരം ആരെയും ആകര്‍ഷിക്കുന്നതാണ്. എന്നാല്‍, ഇതിനാവശ്യമായ നടപടിയുണ്ടാകാത്തതും ദ്വീപുകളുടെ പുരോഗതിയെ പിന്നോട്ടു വലിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും ജോസഫ് പറയുന്നു .

    बरेली। सरस्वती विद्या मंदिर बृजलोक में शनिवार को सेवानिवृत्त एसबीआई अधिकारी सामाजिक क्लब ने पेण्टिंग कम्पटीशन का आयोजन कराया। इस प्रतियोगिता का विषय था ‘‘स्वच्छ भारत’’ एवं ‘‘पर्यावरण संरक्षण’’। प्रतियोगिता के दौरान बच्चों ने निर्धारित समय में शानदार संदेश देते हुए पेण्टिंग्स बनायीं। विजयी रहे विद्यार्थियों को पुरस्कृत किया गया। सभी प्रतिभागियों को भी छोटे उपहार और प्रतिभागिता प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान किये गये।
