In what could bring a major embarrassment to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of Lok Sabha elections, party’s Saharanpur district president Vijayendra Kashyap was caught on camera engaging in an ugly brawl with Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Arun Rana after the latter criticised the UP government. Kashyap lost his cool and tried to thrash Rana with shoe after the latter questioned him about the non-payment of sugarcane dues to western Uttar Pradesh farmers by the Yogi Adityanath government. Later, the people intervened and pacify the infuriated BJP leader.
