अमेरिका के नव निर्वाचित राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने H1-B वीजा को लेकर फिर बड़ा बयान दिया है. ट्रंप ने कहा है कि अमेरिकी लोगों के रोजगार की सुरक्षा उनकी प्राथमिकता है और वे अमेरिकी लोगों की जगह विदेशी कामगारों को नौकरी पर रखे जाने की अनुमति नहीं देंगे... गुरूवार को आयोवा में अपने समर्थकों के बीच ट्रंप ने साफ कर दिया कि जनवरी में कामकाज संभालते हुए उनकी प्राथमिकताओं में एच1-बी वीजा को लेकर कड़ा रुख अपनाना शामिल होगा... इस दौरान ट्रंप नें डिज्नी वर्ल्ड समेत अन्य अमेरिकी कंपनियों का स्पष्ट जिक्र करते कहा कि इन कंपनियों ने अमेरिकी कर्मियों को नौकरी से निकालकर उनकी जगह भारतीयों समेत एन1बी वीजा धारकों को भर्ती किया..लेकिन मैं अब ऐसा नहीं होने दूंगा...हजारों समर्थकों के बीच ट्रंप ने कहा कि हरेक अमेरिकी की जिंदगी सुरक्षित करने के लिए वे लड़ेंगे. आपको बता दें कि H1-B वीजा नियमों में बदलाव किए जाने से करीब 86 हज़ार भारतीयों की नौकरियां प्रभावित होंगी...टी.सी.एस., इन्फोसिस और विप्रो जैसी कंपनियां अमरीका में एच1-बी वीजा के जरिए बड़े पैमाने पर भारत से कर्मचारियों को ले जाती रही हैं

अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनल्ड ट्रंप ने 7 मुस्लिम देशों के नागरिकों पर अस्थायी बैन के फैसले के बाद एक और कड़ा कदम उठाया है। ट्रंप ने दूसरे देशों से अमेरिका में जॉब के लिए आने वाले प्रफेशनल्स पर शिकंजा कसने की तैयारी कर ली है। 'हायर अमेरिकन' की अपनी नीति पर चलते हुए ट्रंप ने एच1बी वीजा की शर्तों को सख्त करने के लिए अमेरिकी संसद में बिल रखा है। अगर यह बिल पास हो गया तो भारतीय आईटी प्रफेशनल्स पर सबसे ज्यादा असर पड़ेगा। इस कानून के तहत न्यूनतम 1,30,000 डॉलर वेतन वाली नौकरियों के लिए ही ऐसा वीजा दिया जा सकता है। यह मौजूदा न्यूनतम वेतन स्तर के दोगुना से भी ज्यादा है और इसके लागू होने पर अमेरिकी कंपनियों के लिए अमेरिका में भारत सहित विदेशी कर्मचारियों को नौकरी देना मुश्किल हो जाएगा। दरअसल, यह पहल डोनाल्ड ट्रंप के चुनावी वादों और अमेरिकियों के लिए रोजगार के अवसर बढ़ाने की पहल का हिस्सा है। आपको बता दें इससे पहले 1989 से चले आ रहे कानून के तहत अभी तक यह 60 हजार अमेरिकी डॉलर है। जिसे बढ़ाने का प्रस्ताव पेश किया गया है। अमेरिकी संसद में जैसे ही यह बिल पेश हुआ, आईटी कंपनियों के शेयर गिर गए।
