Tamil Nadu temple stampede: Seven dead, तिरुचिरापल्ली के एक मंदिर में भगदड़ से 7 लोगों की मौत,

तमिलनाडु में तिरूचिरापल्ली के मंदिर में पूजा उत्सव के दौरान भगदड़ मचने से 7 लोगों की मौत हो गई है. कई लोग घायल भी बताए जा रहे हैं. घायलों को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है. ये घटना तिरूचिरापल्ली के मुथियमपलियम गांव की है.पुलिस के मुताबिक मंदिर में उत्सव के दौरान सैकड़ों श्रद्धालु जमा हुए थे और पुजारी श्रद्धालुओं को सिक्के बांट रहे थे, सिक्के लेने की होड़ में श्रद्धालुओं के बीच भगदड़ मच गई. गौरतलब है कि इस मंदिर में सिक्के लेने के लिए आसपास के गांवों से बड़ी संख्या में लोग जमा होते हैं. मान्यता है कि मंदिर के सिक्के पास रखने से समृद्धि बढ़ती है
