A crowd of devotees thronged the Naina Devi temple on Sunday, but the shopkeepers were disappointed with the closure of the market. Regarding this, shopkeepers have requested CM Jai Ram Thakur to withdraw the decision to keep shops closed on Sunday. They say that due to the temple, devotees come on Sunday.

Bilaspur( Himachal) Even after the end of Shardiya Navratri, devotees continue to visit the Shaktipeeths of himachal. Being a Sunday, a large crowd of devotees thronged the Naina Devi temple for darshan. Devotees had to stand in line for 3 to 4 hours to seek the blessings of the ma naina devi. Today about 40 thousand devotees have darshan of Ma naina Devi. Such a huge crowd was not seen even in Navratras. Although the gates of the temple were opened at 4:00 in the morning, the crowd of devotees was so much that there was a gathering of devotees till the number 4 sector. Temple security personnel and Home Guard personnel maintained control of the crowd.

A large number of devotees visited the world famous Shaktipeeth Shri Naina Devi on the first Sunday of the New Year and received the blessings of the Mother Goddess. The process of arrival of devotees from Punjab, Himachal, Haryana, Delhi and other states continued since morning. Despite the severe cold, the morale of the devotees did not diminish and there was a crowd in the court of the Mother Goddess. Home Guard personnel deployed outside the temple maintained control over the crowd and ex-servicemen deployed inside the temple maintained the arrangements.

വര്ഷത്തില് രണ്ടു മാസമൊഴികെ പത്തു മാസങ്ങളിലും അതികഠിനമായ ചൂടേറിയ സ്ഥലം, ജനുവരി ഫെബ്രുവരി മാസങ്ങള് ഒഴികെ എല്ലാ ദിവസവും ശരാശരി 46 ഡിഗ്രീ വരെ താപനില രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന സ്ഥലമാണ് ഈ മരുഭൂമി. . ഇവിടെ ഇതുവരെ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത്തില് ഏറ്റവും കുറവ് താപനില 37 ഡിഗ്രിയാണ്.എത്തിയോപിയന് മരുഭൂമിയിലെ വളരെ ഉള്ളിലാണ് ഈ മനോഹരമായ പ്രദേശം.
