पाकिस्तान में एक चौंकाने वाला मामला सामने आया है. पाकिस्तान के लरकाना जिले के स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ. अब्दुल रहमान ने बताया है कि 90 से ज्यादा लोग और करीब 65 बच्चे एचआईवी पॉजिटिव पाए गए हैं. अधिकारियों ने 'जानबूझकर' एचआईवी फैलाने वाले एक डॉक्टर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है अधिकारी पहली बार तब अलर्ट हुए जब एक ही शहर में करीब 18 बच्चे एचआईवी पॉजिटिव पाए गए.

കർണാടകയിലെ ഹൂബ്ലിയിൽ നിന്നും 30 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയുള്ള മൊറാബ് ഗ്രാമത്തിലാണ് സംഭവം. 32 ഏക്കര്‍ വിസ്തൃതിയുള്ള മൊറാബ് തടാകം വറ്റിക്കണമെന്നാണ് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ അധികൃതരോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. എച്ച്‌ഐവി ബാധിച്ചെന്ന സംശയിക്കുന്ന യുവതിയുടെ മൃതദേഹം തടാകത്തില്‍ പൊങ്ങിയതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ തടാകം വറ്റിക്കാനൊരുങ്ങുന്നത്.രോഗം പകരുമെന്ന ഭീതിയാണ് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ കാരണമായി പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നത്. കുളത്തിലെ വെളളം കുടിക്കില്ലെന്ന് ഇവര്‍ അധികൃതരോട് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. അതേസമയം എച്ച്‌ഐവി വെള്ളത്തിലൂടെ പകരില്ലെന്ന് ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പ് ഉറപ്പ് നല്‍കിയിട്ടും പ്രദേശത്ത് പതിനയ്യായിരത്തോളം വരുന്ന ജനങ്ങള്‍ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന ഏക ജലസ്രോതസ് ഇവര്‍ വറ്റിക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു .നവംബര്‍ 29 നാണ് യുവതിയെ തടാകത്തില്‍ മരിച്ച നിലയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. മൃതുദേഹം കണ്ടെടുക്കുമ്പോൾ അതിൻറെ ഒരു ഭാഗം മുഴുവനും മത്സ്യം ഭക്ഷിച്ച രീതിയിലായിരുന്നു . അതേസമയം ക്ലോറിനേഷന്‍ നടത്താമെന്നും, ജലം പരീക്ഷണത്തിന് വിധേയമാക്കാമെന്നും ധികൃതർ പറഞ്ഞെങ്കിലും നാട്ടുകാര്‍ കൂട്ടാക്കിയില്ല. ഇതോടെയാണ് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ വെള്ളംകുടിക്കാന്‍ വിസ്സമ്മതം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചത്. എട്ടു കുടിവെള്ള ടാങ്കറുമായി കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം എത്തിയ നാട്ടുകാര്‍, അധികൃതര്‍ കുളം വറ്റിച്ചില്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവര്‍ ആ പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്യുമെന്നാണ് അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു .തുടർന്ന് കുളം വറ്റിക്കാൻ അധികൃതരും നിര്‍ബന്ധിതരായി.എന്നാല്‍ ഇവരുടെ പിടിവാശി മൂലം നിരവധി പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളും പ്രദേശത്ത് ഉണ്ടായതായി പറയുന്നു . കുളത്തില്‍ എയ്ഡ്സ് വെെറസ് അവശേഷിക്കുന്നുവെന്നാണ് നാട്ടുകാരുടെ ആരോപണം.എന്നാല്‍ പ്രദേശവാസികളുടെ ആശങ്കയ്ക്ക് പിന്നില്‍ അടിസ്ഥാനമില്ലെന്ന് രാജീവ് ഗാന്ധി ഇന്‍സ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ചെസ്റ്റ് ആന്‍ഡ് കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കബിള്‍ ഡിസീസ് ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ഡോ. നാഗരാജ് പറഞ്ഞു. താപനില 25 ഡിഗ്രിയില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ആയിരിക്കുമ്ബോള്‍ വെള്ളത്തില്‍ ആറ് മണിക്കൂറില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ വൈറസിന് അതിജീവിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയില്ല. പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയുടെ മൃതദേഹം ലഭിച്ചിട്ട് ആറ് ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.എങ്കിലും നാട്ടുകാരുടെ പ്രതിഷേധവും ആശങ്കയും കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് തടാകം വറ്റിക്കല്‍ ആരംഭിച്ചുവെന്നാണ് സൂചന. തടാകം വറ്റിച്ച്‌ അടുത്തുള്ള മലാപ്രഭ കനാലില്

കർണാടകയിലെ ഹൂബ്ലിയിൽ നിന്നും 30 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയുള്ള മൊറാബ് ഗ്രാമത്തിലാണ് സംഭവം. 32 ഏക്കര്‍ വിസ്തൃതിയുള്ള മൊറാബ് തടാകം വറ്റിക്കണമെന്നാണ് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ അധികൃതരോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. എച്ച്‌ഐവി ബാധിച്ചെന്ന സംശയിക്കുന്ന യുവതിയുടെ മൃതദേഹം തടാകത്തില്‍ പൊങ്ങിയതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ തടാകം വറ്റിക്കാനൊരുങ്ങുന്നത്.രോഗം പകരുമെന്ന ഭീതിയാണ് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ കാരണമായി പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നത്. കുളത്തിലെ വെളളം കുടിക്കില്ലെന്ന് ഇവര്‍ അധികൃതരോട് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. അതേസമയം എച്ച്‌ഐവി വെള്ളത്തിലൂടെ പകരില്ലെന്ന് ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പ് ഉറപ്പ് നല്‍കിയിട്ടും പ്രദേശത്ത് പതിനയ്യായിരത്തോളം വരുന്ന ജനങ്ങള്‍ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന ഏക ജലസ്രോതസ് ഇവര്‍ വറ്റിക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു .നവംബര്‍ 29 നാണ് യുവതിയെ തടാകത്തില്‍ മരിച്ച നിലയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. മൃതുദേഹം കണ്ടെടുക്കുമ്പോൾ അതിൻറെ ഒരു ഭാഗം മുഴുവനും മത്സ്യം ഭക്ഷിച്ച രീതിയിലായിരുന്നു . അതേസമയം ക്ലോറിനേഷന്‍ നടത്താമെന്നും, ജലം പരീക്ഷണത്തിന് വിധേയമാക്കാമെന്നും ധികൃതർ പറഞ്ഞെങ്കിലും നാട്ടുകാര്‍ കൂട്ടാക്കിയില്ല. ഇതോടെയാണ് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ വെള്ളംകുടിക്കാന്‍ വിസ്സമ്മതം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചത്. എട്ടു കുടിവെള്ള ടാങ്കറുമായി കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം എത്തിയ നാട്ടുകാര്‍, അധികൃതര്‍ കുളം വറ്റിച്ചില്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവര്‍ ആ പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്യുമെന്നാണ് അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു .തുടർന്ന് കുളം വറ്റിക്കാൻ അധികൃതരും നിര്‍ബന്ധിതരായി.എന്നാല്‍ ഇവരുടെ പിടിവാശി മൂലം നിരവധി പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളും പ്രദേശത്ത് ഉണ്ടായതായി പറയുന്നു . കുളത്തില്‍ എയ്ഡ്സ് വെെറസ് അവശേഷിക്കുന്നുവെന്നാണ് നാട്ടുകാരുടെ ആരോപണം.എന്നാല്‍ പ്രദേശവാസികളുടെ ആശങ്കയ്ക്ക് പിന്നില്‍ അടിസ്ഥാനമില്ലെന്ന് രാജീവ് ഗാന്ധി ഇന്‍സ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ചെസ്റ്റ് ആന്‍ഡ് കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കബിള്‍ ഡിസീസ് ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ഡോ. നാഗരാജ് പറഞ്ഞു. താപനില 25 ഡിഗ്രിയില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ആയിരിക്കുമ്ബോള്‍ വെള്ളത്തില്‍ ആറ് മണിക്കൂറില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ വൈറസിന് അതിജീവിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയില്ല. പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയുടെ മൃതദേഹം ലഭിച്ചിട്ട് ആറ് ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.എങ്കിലും നാട്ടുകാരുടെ പ്രതിഷേധവും ആശങ്കയും കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് തടാകം വറ്റിക്കല്‍ ആരംഭിച്ചുവെന്നാണ് സൂചന. തടാകം വറ്റിച്ച്‌ അടുത്തുള്ള മലാപ്രഭ കനാലില്
