जापान अब ज्यादा समय तक क्षतिग्रस्त हुए फुकुशिमा न्यूक्लियर प्लांट का रेडियोएक्टिव पानी जमा नहीं कर सकेगा... ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि जिस टैंक में वो अब तक इस पानी को जमा कर रहा था उसकी तय सीमा पूरी होने वाली है... इसके एक बार भर जाने के बाद जापान के लिए इसको छोड़ना एक बड़ी मजबूरी बन रहा है... जापान के प्रधानमंत्री योशिहिदे सुगा ने साफ कर दिया है कि जापान अब इस पानी को अगले दो वर्षों के अंदर समुद्र में छोड़ देगा। इसको लेकर जापान ही नहीं बल्कि कई अन्य देशों में विरोध के सुर भी सुनाई दे रहे हैं... जापान के इस फैसले का विरोध करने वालों का कहना है कि इस दूषित पानी से समुद्र का जनजीवन नष्ट होने के कगार पर पहुंच जाएगा। साथ ही इसका प्रतिकूल प्रभाव समुद्र में अन्य चीजों पर भी पड़ सकता है।

ഇന്ത്യയുള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള ലോകരാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ വില്‍ക്കപ്പെടുന്ന പ്രമുഖ ബ്രാന്‍ഡുകളുടെ കുപ്പിവെള്ളത്തില്‍ പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്കിന്റെ അംശം ഉള്ളതായിട്ടാണ് കണ്ടെത്തല്‍
ഇന്ത്യ, ചൈന, ബ്രസീല്‍, ഇന്‍ഡോനേഷ്യ, കെനിയ, ലെബനന്‍, മെക്‌സിക്കോ, തായ്ലന്‍ഡ്, യുഎസ് എന്നീ രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നാണ് പഠനത്തിനായി 250 കുപ്പി വെള്ളം ശേഖരിച്ചത്. ശേഖരിച്ച സാമ്പിളുകളില്‍ 93 ശതമാനത്തിലും പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്കിന്റെ അംശം പഠനത്തില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തി.
അക്വാ, അക്വാഫിന, ബിസ്ലേരി, ഡസാനി, ഏവിയാന്‍, നെസ്ലെ പ്യൂര്‍ ലൈഫ്, എപുറ, ജെറോള്‍സ്റ്റെയ്‌നര്‍, മിനല്‍ബ, വഹാഹ തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രമുഖബ്രാന്‍ഡുകളും ഇതില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നുണ്ട്.
കുപ്പികളില്‍ വെള്ളം നിറച്ച ശേഷം മൂടി ഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഘട്ടത്തിലാണ് പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് ശകലങ്ങള്‍ കടന്നുകൂടുന്നതെന്നാണ് നിരീക്ഷണം. പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് മൂടികള്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കാന്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന പോളി പ്രൊപ്പലിന്‍, നൈലോണ്‍, പോളിഎത്തിലിന്‍ ട്രെപ്താലെറ്റ് എന്നിവയാണ് വെള്ളത്തില്‍ കലര്‍ന്നത്. ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് മാലിന്യം കലര്‍ന്ന കുപ്പിവെള്ളം കുടിക്കുന്നത് ഓട്ടിസം, കാന്‍സര്‍, പുരുഷന്‍മാരിലെ വന്ധ്യത എന്നിവയിലേക്ക് വരെ നയിക്കുമെന്ന് ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്ക് സര്‍വകലാശാലയിലെ മൈക്രോപ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് ഗവേഷക ഷെറി മാസണ്‍ പറയുന്നു

Hamirpur( Himachal): People of Gram Panchayat Bhated of Hamirpur district drinking contaminated water. The condition of the tank made for the supply of water to the people here is pathetic for the last ten years. Despite this, the Jal Shakti Department is not taking any action in this regard.
