"The Congress is fully committed to continuing the facility of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs as per constitutional provisions," she said at a well-attended election rally in Kahalgaon, 37 km east of Bhagalpur. Sonia Gandhi alleged the BJP-led government at the Centre and (the RSS mandarins at) Nagpur were playing a "fixed match" over job reservation for the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes.

China के बाद दूसरे देशों में भी Coronavirus का कहर, Iran-South Korea में सबसे ज़्यादा मामले
चीन के वुहान शहर में जब कोरोना वायरस का पहला मामला सामने आया तब किसी को अंदाज़ा नहीं था कि ये धीरे-धीरे महामारी में बदल जाएगा। वर्ल्ड हेल्थ आर्गेनाईजेशन और खुद चीनी सरकार को भी नहीं। लेकिन 2 से 3 महीने में ही चीन में इस वायरस के 78,064 मामले सामने आये, जबकि 2,715 लोगों की मौत हो गई। वायरस के बढ़ते खतरे को देखते हुए WHO ने 30 जनवरी को वैश्विक स्वास्थ्य आपातकाल घोषित करने का फैसला लिया था। हाल के दिनों में चीन में कोरोना वायरस के मामलों और हर दिन होने वाली मौतों की संख्या में कमी आई है। चीनी अधिकारियों के अनुसार वायरस से 18,500 से अधिक लोग ठीक हुए हैं। लेकिन खतरा अब भी बना हुआ है। जापान, थाईलैंड, अमेरिका, कनाडा, फ्रांस, इटली, जर्मनी और यूके जैसे 30 से ज़्यादा देशों में वायरस के मामले मिलने से इस बात की प्रबल आशंका बन रही है कि कोरोनावायरस कहीं महामारी का रूप तो नहीं ले रहा?
