PM Narendra Modi's opening remarks at Voice of Global South Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the inaugural session of the second 'Voice of Global South Summit'. India is hosting the Summit in a virtual format. The theme of the inaugural Leaders’ Session is "Together, for Everyone’s Growth, with Everyone’s Trust” and that of the Concluding Leaders’ Session is "Global South: Together for One Future”.
In his opening remarks, the PM said, "On behalf of 140 crore Indians, I extend a warm welcome to all of you at the inaugural session of the 2nd Voice of Global South Summit. Voice of Global South is the most unique platform in the changing world of the 21st century. Geographically, the Global South has always been there. But this is the first time he's getting voice like this. And this has been possible due to the joint efforts of all of us. We are more than 100 different countries, but we have the same interests, the same priorities."
