The PM said, “Today Ekta Nagar is recognized as a global green city." Apart from various tourist attractions, the Prime Minister informed that in the last 6 months itself, more than 1.5 lakh trees have been planted in Ekta Nagar.
He also added, "Whenever I come here, its attraction seems to increase further. River Rafting, Ekta Cruise, Ekta Nursery, Ekta Mall, Arogya Van, Cactus and Butterfly Garden, Jungle Safari, Miyawaki Forest, Maze Garden are attracting a lot of tourists here."

PM Modi's at inauguration of rail & power sector projects between India & Bangladesh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Bangladesh, H.E. Sheikh Hasina jointly inaugurated three Indian-assisted development projects on 1 November 2023 via video conferencing. The three projects are Akhaura - Agartala Cross-Border Rail Link; Khulna - Mongla Port Rail Line; and Unit – II of the Maitree Super Thermal Power Plant. The Akhaura-Agartala Cross-Border Rail Link project has been executed under Government of India grant assistance of INR 392.52 crore extended to Bangladesh. The length of the rail link is 12.24 km with a 6.78 km Dual Gauge rail line in Bangladesh and 5.46 km in Tripura.
PM Modi said, "It is a matter of joy that once again we have connected to celebrate the success of India-Bangladesh cooperation. Our relations are reaching new heights continuously. The work we have done together in the last 9 years was not done even in the decades before this."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the G20 University Connect Finale programme at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The PM said that the youth progresses where there is optimism, opportunities and openness. He praised the participation of youth in the event, as more than 1 lakh students from more than 100 universities participated in the G20 University Connect. “Our people think big and deliver even grander”, he added. The PM also credited the positive developments taking place in the country to the political stability, policy clarity and democratic values.
The G20 University Connect initiative was undertaken with the aim to build an understanding of India’s G20 Presidency among India’s youth and enhance their participation in the different G20 events.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and dedicated multiple development projects at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, in sectors like road, rail, aviation, health and higher education.
The projects include 350 bedded ‘Trauma Centre and Critical Care Hospital Block at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur’, and seven Critical Care Blocks under Pradhan Mantri – Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) to be developed across Rajasthan. The integrated centre for ‘Trauma, Emergency and critical care’ at AIIMS Jodhpur will be developed at a cost of more than Rs 350 crore.
The PM also flagged off two new train services in Rajasthan. These include a new train - Runicha Express - connecting Jaisalmer to Delhi and a new heritage train connecting Marwar Jn. - Khambli Ghat. The PM said, "A budget of nearly 9,500 crore rupees has been allocated for the development of railways in Rajasthan in this year only. This budget is almost 14 times more than the annual average budget of the previous government."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the spectacular Dussehra Celebrations at DDA Ground, Dwaraka, New Delhi. The PM gave an inspirational address on the pious and auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashami.
Upon addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister extended Navratri and Vijaya Dashami greetings to the people of the country. He said that the festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Recalling signs of arrival described in Ramcharitmanas, the Prime Minister mentioned similar signs now, such as India's economy becoming the fifth largest economy, landing on moon, new Parliament Building, Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam. “India is today emerging as the world's largest democracy as well as the most trusted democracy”, he said. As Lord Ram is coming under such auspicious signs, the Prime Minister said that “in a way, after 75 years of independence, India's fortunes are now going to rise.”
