Danny Dyer: 'I'm not a Misogynist, I Love Women'

Danny Dyer has said that he regrets a controversial comment in a 2010 magazine article.

The Run For Your Wife actor advised a reader to cut his ex-girlfriend's face while writing as an 'agony uncle' for Zoo.

Dyer was later dropped by the magazine for the remark, but he has insisted that he is not a "misogynist".

"As a joke - a bad joke - I said to the journalist [who was putting the page together], 'Maybe he should cut her face so no one would want her'," he told The Independent.

"Even as it came out of my mouth I wasn't proud of it... But I never thought for a minute they'd stick it in the magazine."

He added: "It just makes me feel sick that people would believe that I'm this misogynist who would advise somebody to cut a woman's face.

"Especially with two daughters and having being brought up by women. I adore women... I love everything about them."

Danny Dyer recently stated that Mark Wright is the only thing he "hates" about the celebrity world.
