    മെബാക്ക് പുള്‍മാന്‍ എസ് 600 ലിമോ ഗാര്‍ഡില്‍ നിന്നാണ് പുതിയ വാഹനത്തിലേക്ക് പുടിന്‍ ചുവടുമാറുന്നത്.


    പരമാവധി 592 ബിഎച്ച്പി കരുത്ത് ഉത്പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്ന എൻജിനാണ് കര്‍ത്തേഷില്‍ ഉള്ളത്. ഒമ്പത് സ്പീഡ് ഓട്ടോമാറ്റിക് ഗിയര്‍ബോക്‌സാണ് കാറില്‍. ഏകദേശം 5 ടണ്‍ ഭാരമുണ്ട് കര്‍ത്തേഷിന്.ബാലിസ്റ്റിക് മിസൈല്‍, ഗ്രനൈഡുകള്‍ രാസായുധങ്ങള്‍ എന്നിവ ഉപയോഗിച്ചുള്ള ആക്രമണങ്ങള്‍ ചെറുക്കാനുള്ള സജ്ജീകരണങ്ങള്‍ പുതിയ കാറിലുണ്ടാകും. സുരക്ഷാകാരണങ്ങളാല്‍ കാറിലെ സജ്ജീകരണങ്ങളുടെ കൂടുതല്‍ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ പുറത്തുവിട്ടിട്ടില്ലെങ്കിലും അതിനൂതന വാര്‍ത്താവിനിമയ സംവിധാനവും അടിയന്തിര ചികിത്സാ സംവിധാനങ്ങളും കവചിത ഇന്ധന ടാങ്കും നേരിട്ടു വെടിയേറ്റാലും ഏല്‍ക്കാത്ത ബോഡിയും പുതിയ കാറിലുണ്ടാകും. അമേരിക്കന്‍ പ്രസിഡന്റിന്റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക വാഹനമായ ബീസ്റ്റ് എന്ന് അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന കാഡിലാക്ക് വണ്‍ രാഷ്ടതലവന് മാത്രം അവകാശപ്പെട്ടതാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ അതിന് വിപരീതമായി പുടിന്റെ അതിസുരക്ഷകാറിന്റെ മോഡലുകള്‍ ആര്‍ക്കും സ്വന്തമാക്കാന്‍ സാധിക്കും.

    അമേരിക്കൻ പ്രസഡിന്റ് ഡൊണാൾഡ് ട്രംപിന് സഞ്ചരിക്കാന്‍ ഒബാമയുടെയുടെ കാലത്ത് നിർമിച്ച കാ‍ഡിലാക്ക് വണ്ണിന് പകരം പുതിയ ബീസ്റ്റ് .2015ൽ നിർമിച്ച കാഡിലാക്ക് വണ്ണിൽ നിന്ന് കാലികമായ മാറ്റങ്ങളോടെ ഏറ്റവും നൂതന ടെക്‌നോളജിയിലാണ് പുതിയ വാഹനം നിർമിച്ചത്. അത്യാധുനിക സുരക്ഷാ സംവിധാനങ്ങളെല്ലാമുള്ള ബീസ്റ്റ് അടുത്തിടെ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ റഷ്യൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുടെ വാഹനത്തെ കടത്തിവെട്ടും.ജനറല്‍ മോട്ടോഴ്‌സിന്റെ മിഡിയം ഡ്യൂട്ടി ട്രക്കിന്റെ പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമില്‍ നിര്‍മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വാഹനത്തിന് ഡീസല്‍ എന്‍ജിനാണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. മൂന്നു കാറുകള്‍ നിര്‍മിക്കാനുള്ള കരാറാണ് ജനറല്‍ മോട്ടോഴ്‌സിന് ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ജനറല്‍ മോട്ടോഴ്‌സ് 15.8 മില്യണ്‍ ഡോളറിനാണ് (ഏകദേശം 100 കോടി രൂപ) പ്രസിഡന്റിനുള്ള ലിമോസിന്‍ കാറുകളുടെ കരാര്‍ സ്വന്തമാക്കിയത്.അതിനൂതന വാര്‍ത്താവിനിമയ സംവിധാനവും അടിയന്തിര ചികിത്സാ സംവിധാനങ്ങളും ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കവചിത ഇന്ധന ടാങ്കും സുരക്ഷിതമായാണ് നിര്‍മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. നേരിട്ടു വെടിയേറ്റാലും തീപിടിക്കാതിരിക്കാനായി പ്രത്യേക ഫോം ഇതില്‍ നിറച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ബൂട്ടിലും ഓക്‌സിജന്‍ സംവിധാനവും തീപിടിത്തത്തെ ചെറുക്കാനുള്ള സംവിധാനവും ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പിന്നില്‍ നാലുപേര്‍ക്ക് ഇരിക്കാന്‍ സാധിക്കും. പ്രസിഡന്റിന്റെ സീറ്റ് സമീപം സാറ്റലൈറ്റ് ഫോണും വൈസ്പ്രസിഡന്റുമായും പെന്റഗണുമായും നേരിട്ടു സംസാരിക്കാനുള്ള ലൈനും സജ്ജമാണ്.കാറിന്റെ മുന്‍ഭാഗത്ത് പ്രത്യേക അറയില്‍ രാത്രി കാണാന്‍ കഴിയുന്ന ക്യാമറകളും ചെറു തോക്കുകളും ടിയര്‍ ഗ്യാസും അടിയന്തിര സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കാനായി പ്രസിഡന്റിന്റെ രക്തവും സൂക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അമേരിക്കന്‍ രഹസ്യാന്വേഷണ ഏജന്‍സികള്‍ പ്രത്യേക പരിശീലനം നല്‍കിയ‍ ഡ്രൈവര്‍മാരാകും പ്രസിഡന്റിനെ അനുഗമിക്കുക.
