A video of tourists sleeping on the bonnet of a rental car in Goa has sparked anger and disgust on social media. The video shows five people, one of whom is seen sleeping on the bonnet while two more females are seen sitting on top of the roof of the parked car whose yellow and black license plate indicates it is a rent a car. The state of Goa with its picturesque beaches and bustling nightlife has long been a preferred destination for tourists in India, but the issue of visitors misbehaving has been criticised by Goans several times in the past. This time, it is a short clip of tourists sleeping and sitting on top of a rental car has brought the problem of tourist misbehaviour to the forefront again. The business of renting cars and two-wheelers to tourists is a mainstay for many households in Goa, and the viral video has raised concerns about how tourists treat the vehicles they rent.

नागरिकता संशोधन कानून (सीएए) पर दाखिल 144 याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई के दौरान सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कोई भी अंतरिम आदेश जारी करने से इनकार कर दिया है।
कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार को नोटिस जारी कर चार हफ्तों में जवाब दाखिल करने को कहा है। चीफ जस्टिस एसए बोबडे, जस्टिस एक अब्दुल नजीर और जस्टिस संजीव खन्ना की पीठ ने सीएए से संबंधित 144 याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई की।
सीएए की संवैधानिक वैधता को इंडियन यूनियन ऑफ मुस्लिम लीग, पीस पार्टी, असम गण परिषद, ऑल असम स्टूडेंट्स यूनियन, जमायत उलेमा ए हिन्द, जयराम रमेश, महुआ मोइत्रा, देव मुखर्जी, असददुद्दीन ओवेसी, तहसीन पूनावाला व केरल सरकार सहित अन्य ने चुनौती दी थी।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि वह केंद्र का पक्ष सुने बिना सीएए पर कोई स्थगन आदेश जारी नहीं करेगा। चीफ जस्टिस एसए बोबडे ने कहा है कि हम अभी कोई भी आदेश जारी नहीं कर सकते हैं, क्योंकि काफी याचिकाओं को सुनना बाकी है। अटॉर्नी जनरल ने अपील की है कि कोर्ट को आदेश जारी करना चाहिए कि अब कोई नई याचिका दायर नहीं होनी चाहिए।
केंद्र सरकार ने कहा कि सीएए की संवैधानिक वैधता को चुनौती देने वाली उन याचिकाओं पर जवाब देने के लिए उसे समय चाहिए जो उसे अभी नहीं मिल पाई हैं।
वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता कपिल सिब्बल ने उच्चतम न्यायालय से सीएए के क्रियान्वयन पर रोक लगाने और एनपीआर की कवायद फिलहाल टाल देने का अनुरोध किया।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि सीएए की संवैधानिक वैधता तय करने के लिए वह अपीलों को वृहद संविधान पीठ के पास भेज सकता है।
चीफ जस्टिस ऑफ इंडिया ने कहा कि हम सरकार से कुछ अस्थायी परमिट जारी करने के लिए कह सकते हैं।केंद्र की ओर से अटॉर्नी जनरल के के वेणुगोपाल ने कहा कि सीएए की संवैधानिक वैधता को चुनौती देने वाली 143 याचिकाओं में से करीब 60 की प्रतियां सरकार को दी गई हैं ।

UP Police seeks ban on PFI for Anti-CAA violence, arrests 25 workers
Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) O. P. Singh has sent a letter to the state home department seeking a ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI), an organisation that is said to have played a key role in triggering violence during the recent anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protests in the state. अप्रैल में दिल्ली मेट्रो में बिकनी गर्ल का एक वीडियो वायरल हुआ था. इस वीडियो के वायरल होने के बाद सोशल मीडिया यूजर्स ने काफी आपत्ति जताई थी. अब DMRC ने मेट्रो ट्रेन में पेट्रोलिंग करने के लिए फ्लाइंग स्क्वॉड तैनात करने का फैसला किया है. दिल्ली मेट्रो में बिकिनी गर्ल का वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद काफी बवाल मचा था. इसके बाद से ही दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल कॉर्पोरेशन यानी DMRC से मेट्रो में अश्लीलता रोकने के लिए नियम बनाने की मांग की जा रही थी. दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल कॉर्पोरेशन (DMRC) ने अब मेट्रो के कोच में पेट्रोलिंग करने के लिए फ्लाइंग स्क्वॉड तैनात करने का फैसला किया है. इस स्क्वॉड में पुलिस और सीआईएसएफ के जवानों को शामिल किया जाएगा. पेट्रोलिंग करने वाले जवान सिविल ड्रेस में भी हो सकते हैं. ये लोगों पर नजर रखने के लिए खुद मेट्रो में सफर करेंगे.
