Singh has sent a letter to the state home department seeking a ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI), an organisation that is said to have played a key role in triggering violence during the recent anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protests in the state. 'Nearly 25 PFI workers across the state have been arrested', says U.P Police.

    Enhancing its role in India's fight against coronavirus, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has developed techniques for carrying out sanitisation of different areas, officials said on Friday. The Centre for Fire Explosive & Environment Safety (CFEES), Delhi has developed two configurations for sanitising equipment.
