ശരിക്കും എങ്ങനെയാണ് ഈ ആചാരങ്ങള് വന്നത് ? തൈപ്പൂയ മഹോത്സവത്തോട് അനുബന്ധിച്ചാണ് കേരളത്തിലും തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലും ഒക്കെ ഈ ശൂലം കുത്ത് പരിപാടി നടക്കുന്നത് . ഹൈന്ദവ ദൈവമായ സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യനെ പ്രീതിപ്പെടുത്താനാണ് ഈ ആചാരം . അദ്ധേഹത്തിന്റെ കയ്യില് ഒരു ശൂലം ഉള്ളതായി ചിത്രങ്ങളില് കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട് . പക്ഷെ അതെടുത്തു എപ്പോള് കവിളിലും നെഞ്ചിലും കുത്താന് ദൈവം പറഞ്ഞതെന്ന് അറിയില്ല .കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുടെ കാലില് ഒരു മുള്ള് കൊണ്ടാല് ദൈവത്തെ വിളിച്ചു കരയുന്ന അതെ അമ്മമാര് തന്നെ ഭക്തിയുടെ പേരില് കുരുന്നു കവിളുകളില് ശൂലം കുത്തിയിറക്കുന്നു. നടുറോഡില് മണിക്കൂറുകളോളം തറച്ച ശൂലവുമായി കുഞുങ്ങള് നടക്കുമ്പോള് ഏതു ദൈവതിനാണ് ഇത്രയേറ പ്രീതി ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത് ശൂലംകുത്ത് പോലെയുള്ള പ്രാകൃതവും മനുഷ്യവിരുദ്ധവുമായ ആചാരങ്ങള്ക്ക് എതിരെ എത്ര പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങള് വന്നാലും വിശ്വാസമാണ് ആചാരമാണ് എന്ന തലക്കെട്ടില് ഇപ്പോഴും ഈ പേകൂത്തു നടക്കുന്നു . ദൈവം ഒരു ക്രൂരനല്ല എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവര് ആണെങ്കില് പിന്നെ എങ്ങനെയാണ് നൂറുപേർ ചോരയൊലിപ്പിച്ചാൽ ദൈവം പ്രീതിപ്പെടും എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നത്
പല പ്രാകൃത ഗോത്രങ്ങളും പിന്തുടര്ന്നുവന്ന അപരിഷ്കൃതമായ ആഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ തുടര്ച്ചയും അനുകരണങ്ങളുമാണ് ശൂലം കുത്തും ഗരുഡന് തൂക്കവും മറ്റും. ലോകത്തിന്റെ പലഭാഗത്തും ഭക്തിയുടെ ഭാഗല്ലാതെ തന്നെ ഇത്തരം വിനോദങ്ങള് നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.മകരമാസത്തിലെ പൂയം നാളാണ് തൈപ്പൂയമായി ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നത്. ശിവസുതനുംദേവസേനാപതിയുമായ സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യന്റെ പിറന്നാളാണ് തൈപ്പൂയം എന്നാണ് വിശ്വാസം. ഒരു പിറന്നാള് ആഘോഷമാണ് വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ പേരില് ഇങ്ങനെ ശൂലം തര്ച്ചും കമ്പിയില് തൂങ്ങിക്കിടന്നും ഭക്തിയോടെ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നത് .സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യന് താരകാസുരനെ യുദ്ധത്തില് വധിച്ച് വിജയം കൈവരിച്ച ദിവസമാണ്മകരമാസത്തിലെ പൂയം നാള് എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. താരകാസുരന് ദേവലോകത്തെ ജീവിതംദുസ്സഹമാക്കിയപ്പോള് മഹര്ഷിമാരും ദേവന്മാരും ശിവപാര്വതിമാരെ അഭയം പ്രാപിച്ചു. താരകാസുരനിഗ്രഹത്തിനായി പുത്രനായ സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യനെയാണ് ഭഗവാന് അയയ്ക്കുന്നത്.പന്ത്രണ്ട്ആയുധങ്ങളുമായായിരുന്നു സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യന്റെ യാത്ര. അസുരനെ വധിച്ച് സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യദേവന്ദേവലോകത്ത് വീണ്ടും ഐശ്വര്യമെത്തിച്ചു. ആ നാളിന്റെ സ്മരണയ്ക്കാണ് തൈപ്പൂയാഘോഷം എന്നും പറയുന്നു . വിജയംവരിച്ചു വന്ന സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യസ്വാമിക്കുളള സമര്പ്പണമാണ് കാവടിയാട്ടം.ശൂലം കുത്തിയിറക്കിBy News60 ML| 126 views

ശരിക്കും എങ്ങനെയാണ് ഈ ആചാരങ്ങള് വന്നത് ? തൈപ്പൂയ മഹോത്സവത്തോട് അനുബന്ധിച്ചാണ് കേരളത്തിലും തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലും ഒക്കെ ഈ ശൂലം കുത്ത് പരിപാടി നടക്കുന്നത് . ഹൈന്ദവ ദൈവമായ സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യനെ പ്രീതിപ്പെടുത്താനാണ് ഈ ആചാരം . അദ്ധേഹത്തിന്റെ കയ്യില് ഒരു ശൂലം ഉള്ളതായി ചിത്രങ്ങളില് കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട് . പക്ഷെ അതെടുത്തു എപ്പോള് കവിളിലും നെഞ്ചിലും കുത്താന് ദൈവം പറഞ്ഞതെന്ന് അറിയില്ല .കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുടെ കാലില് ഒരു മുള്ള് കൊണ്ടാല് ദൈവത്തെ വിളിച്ചു കരയുന്ന അതെ അമ്മമാര് തന്നെ ഭക്തിയുടെ പേരില് കുരുന്നു കവിളുകളില് ശൂലം കുത്തിയിറക്കുന്നു. നടുറോഡില് മണിക്കൂറുകളോളം തറച്ച ശൂലവുമായി കുഞുങ്ങള് നടക്കുമ്പോള് ഏതു ദൈവതിനാണ് ഇത്രയേറ പ്രീതി ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത് ശൂലംകുത്ത് പോലെയുള്ള പ്രാകൃതവും മനുഷ്യവിരുദ്ധവുമായ ആചാരങ്ങള്ക്ക് എതിരെ എത്ര പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങള് വന്നാലും വിശ്വാസമാണ് ആചാരമാണ് എന്ന തലക്കെട്ടില് ഇപ്പോഴും ഈ പേകൂത്തു നടക്കുന്നു . ദൈവം ഒരു ക്രൂരനല്ല എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവര് ആണെങ്കില് പിന്നെ എങ്ങനെയാണ് നൂറുപേർ ചോരയൊലിപ്പിച്ചാൽ ദൈവം പ്രീതിപ്പെടും എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നത്
