सुंदर होने पर भी अगर लडकी की शादी नहीं हो रही हो,तो जरूर मामला गहरा होता है। लेकिन यहां तो एक साथ कई लडकियों के साथ ऐसा होता है। सुंदर हैं पर शादी के लिए तरस जाती हैं। ये मामला पहाड़ों से जुड़ा हुआ है। ब्राजील के नोइवा कस्बा की लडकियां बेहद सुंदर बताई जाती है,पर शादी के लिए उन्हें लाख हाथ-पैर मारने पड़ते हैं। यहां ये माजरा किसी एक लडकी के साथ नहीं बल्कि सभी लड़कियों के साथ होता है। या तो इस जगह से ताल्लुक रखने वाली लड़कियों की शादी नहीं हो पाई है, या वह कुछ अपने हिसाब से इसके लिए स्वयं ही जिम्मेदार हैं। कहा जाता है कि इसके दो कारण है जिसके चलते यहां लड़कियां शादी के लिए तरसती हैं। पहला कारण है कि यहां लड़कियों की संख्या ज्यादा है। यहां लड़के इतनी संख्या में नहीं है जितनी संख्या में लड़कियां है इसके चलते सभी लड़कियों की शादी नहीं हो पाती है।
