Addressing large public rally in Saharanpur, Rahul Gandhi condemned the harsh words used by the party candidate from Saharanpur and punctured the hollow claims of the opposition.
Attacking the opposition he said, "After two failed attempts, the BJP is making another sequel of the 'India Shining' movie called the Gujarat Development model. And just like in 2004 and 2009 when the people of India burst the 'India Shining' balloon, people will burst this balloon yet again."
Condemning the language used by Shri Imran Masood before he joined the Congress Party, some six months ago, Rahul Gandhi said, "This is not the way of the Congress Party. I will tell you what the way of the Congress Party is. In a recent rally, the opposition leader said about me, "He isn't even fit to become a driver". But we must not react with anger. We believe in the politics of love and we must defeat the politics of anger. Criticizing the state ruling party, TMC, for their inadequate work, Rahul Gandhi stated that the large amount of funds sent to West Bengal by the Central Government have not been effectively utilized. While addressing the party rally, Rahul Gandhi also spoke of the steps taken by the Congress party to empower people and promote inclusive growth.
"We want to take everyone along in the process of development, which is why we send funds from the Centre to improve the development of infrastructure and roads. These funds have not reached people, and the insufficient development in West Bengal is a result of this issue. Congress has announced several welfare schemes and rights-based legislations, but the implementation at the local level has been poor," said Rahul Gandhi.
Rahul Gandhi also threw light on the hypocrisy of the TMC government. "People had hoped the new government will work for development, for education, for creating jobs and employment, but unfortunately the TMC Government has done the same thing for which it fought against the communists," he added.દ્વારા Indian National Congress| 197 અભિપ્રાયો

Bhumi Pednekar on reaction to Thank You For Coming, OMG 2, lack of gender equality, viewer hypocrisy
Bhumi Pednekar recently appeared in the comedy Thank You For Coming and the film invited some extreme reactions from the viewers. While some praised the film for its bold concept, some shamed it for that. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her. She highlighted the hypocrisy of the situation that people accept objectification of women but have a problem with them talking about their sexuality. You can watch the entire conversation here.
