Condemning the language used by Shri Imran Masood before he joined the Congress Party, some six months ago, Rahul Gandhi said, "This is not the way of the Congress Party. I will tell you what the way of the Congress Party is. In a recent rally, the opposition leader said about me, "He isn't even fit to become a driver". But we must not react with anger. We believe in the politics of love and we must defeat the politics of anger. Criticizing the state ruling party, TMC, for their inadequate work, Rahul Gandhi stated that the large amount of funds sent to West Bengal by the Central Government have not been effectively utilized. While addressing the party rally, Rahul Gandhi also spoke of the steps taken by the Congress party to empower people and promote inclusive growth.
"We want to take everyone along in the process of development, which is why we send funds from the Centre to improve the development of infrastructure and roads. These funds have not reached people, and the insufficient development in West Bengal is a result of this issue. Congress has announced several welfare schemes and rights-based legislations, but the implementation at the local level has been poor," said Rahul Gandhi.
Rahul Gandhi also threw light on the hypocrisy of the TMC government. "People had hoped the new government will work for development, for education, for creating jobs and employment, but unfortunately the TMC Government has done the same thing for which it fought against the communists," he added.By Indian National Congress| 197 views
