    Jogindernagar (Himachal Pradesh) : BJP MP from Mandi parliamentary seat Ram Swaroop Sharma cremated at Machhayal of Jogindernagar in Himachal Pradesh. Thousands of people paid homage to their popular MP's with moist eyes. MLAs from various assembly constituencies, especially cabinet minister Sarveen Chaudhary, Chief Minister OSD Shishu Bhai Dharma, Satpal Satti, Joginder Nagar MLA Prakash Rana, former minister Thakur Gulab Singh, were present at his native place. After worshiping, his body was taken from his place of residence to the religious place of Machhayal. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur also reached Jogindernagar by helicopter and first reached the MP's house to console his family, after that he attend the funeral of MP Ram Swaroop Sharma in Machhayal.

    Jogindernagar (Himachal Pradesh) : BJP MP from Mandi parliamentary seat Ram Swaroop Sharma will be cremated at 11 am in Machhayal. Earlier, his body has been kept in his native village Jalpahed for the last darshan. A large number of people are reaching to pay tribute to him. This morning, his body was brought in an ambulance from Delhi to Jogindernagar. Sharma is suspected to have died by suicide in Delhi on Wednesday. He was 62 year old. Sharma was allegedly suffering from severe depression and was under treatment for the last six months. He was alone at his flat in Delhi as his wife was on the Char Dham pilgrimage. Sharma's personal security officer was in Mandi. Ram Swaroop Sharma is said to have hung himself from a ceiling fan. Born in 1958 in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district, Sharma was first elected to Lok Sabha in 2014. He was again reelected from Mandi in the 2019 elections. He also served on the Parliamentary standing committee on External Affairs. Ram Swaroop Sharma is survived by his wife and three sons.
