औरंगाबाद दि. 20 (जिमाका) : आर्थिक साक्षरता, डिजिटल साक्षरता, आर्थिक श‍िस्त ही काळाची गरज आहे. त्याचबरोबर प्रत्येकाने तंदुरूस्त आरोग्याची जपणूक करणे देखील महत्त्वाचे आहे. महाराष्ट्र ग्रामीण बँक आयोजित सायकल रॅलीतून आर्थिक साक्षरतेसह आरोग्याचा संदेश गावागावात पोहोचवून लोकांमध्ये जागृती करावी, असे आवाहन जिल्हाधिकारी सुनील चव्हाण यांनी केले.
गोलवाडी येथील महाराष्ट्र ग्रामीण बँकेच्या मुख्य कार्यालयात देशाच्या 75 व्या अमृत महोत्सव आण‍ि महाराष्ट्र ग्रामीण बँकेच्या 13 व्या वर्धापन दिनानिमित्त नाबार्ड आण‍ि महाराष्ट्र ग्रामीण बँक आयोजित चेतना सायकल रॅलीला झेंडी दाखवताना श्री. चव्हाण बोलत होते. कार्यक्रमास नाबार्डचे सरव्यवस्थापक एम.जे. श्रीनिवासुलू, बँकेचे अध्यक्ष मिलिंद घारड, मुख्य सरव्यवस्थापक संजय वाघ व मराठवाड्यातील बँकेचे क्षेत्रीय अध‍िकारी, कर्मचारी आदी उपस्थ‍ित होते.
जिल्हाधिकारी चव्हाण म्हणाले, महाराष्ट्र ग्रामीण बँकेची कामगिरी सर्वच क्षेत्रात उत्तम आहे. नागरिकांनी घेतलेले कर्ज वेळेत परत करण्याबाबत बँकेने अध‍िकाध‍िक जागृती करणे गरजेचे आहे. कर्ज परत करण्याची सवय नागरिकांना लागणे अत्यंत आवश्यक आहे. त्यातूनच त्यांच्या व्यवसायात वृद्धी होऊन व्यवसायास चालना मिळते, याचे महत्त्वही बँकेने कर्जदारांना पटवून देण्याचे आवाहन श्री. चव्हाण यांनी केले. तसेच रॅलीतील सर्व सहभागींना शुभेच्छा दिल्या.
नाबार्डचे श्रीनिवासुलू यांनी रॅलीचे कौतुक करतानाच निसर्गाचा अंदाज घेत सहभागी सायकलपटूंनी मार्गक्रमण करावे असे सांगत सर्वांना शुभेच्छा दिल्या. सुरूवातीला संपूर्ण बँक कामकाजाची माहिती जिल्हाधिकारी चव्हाण यांना देण्यात आली. त्यांनीही संपूर्ण बँकेची पाहणी केली. त्याचबरोबर श्री. चव्हाण यांच्याहस्ते बँकेच्या क्षेत्रीय अध‍िकाऱ्यांना बँकेकडून देण्यात आलेल्या चारचाकी वाहनांचे वितरणही करण्यात आले.
