Sabarimala temple is dedicated to Ayyappa, the God of growth. Prince Manikandan is considered an Avatar of Ayyappa. It is believed that he meditated at Sabarimala temple and became one with the divine.Sabarimala is a prominent Hindu temple located on a hilltop in Kerala's Pathanamthitta district. It is surrounded by 18 hills in the Periyar Tiger Reserve. The temple is dedicated to Ayyappa, the God of growth. The temple attracts pilgrims from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh and from various parts of the country and the world. The temple is open for worship only during the days of Mandalapooja in November-December, Makara Sankranti on January 14 and Maha Vishuva Sankranti on April 14, and the first five days of each Malayalam month.

ശബരിമല വിഷയത്തില്‍ കര്‍മസമിതി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ തുടങ്ങി. അതേസമയം നിലയ്ക്കല്‍ വീണ്ടും സഖര്‍ഷ ഭൂമിയാകുന്നു. യുവമോർച്ച സംസ്ഥാ അധ്യക്ഷൻ പ്രകാശ് ബാബുവിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ആറോളം പേരെത്തിയാണു നിരോധനാജ്ഞ ലംഘിച്ചത്. 41 പ്രവർത്തകരെത്തുമെന്ന് ബിജെപി സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷൻ പി.എസ്.ശ്രീധരൻപിള്ള പറഞ്ഞതിന്റെ തൊട്ടുപിന്നാലെ തന്നെ ഇവർ നിലയ്ക്കലിലെത്തി. പ്രതീകാത്മ സമരത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായിട്ടാണ് നിരോധനാജ്ഞ ലംഘിക്കലെന്ന് ശ്രീധരൻ പിള്ള പറഞ്ഞു. ശബരിമലയിലെ പൊലീസ് നടപടിയിൽ ജുഡീഷ്യൽ അന്വേഷണം വേണം. പ്രാർഥന നടത്തുന്നവരുടെ പന്തൽ പൊളിക്കാൻ പൊലീസിന് എന്തധികാരമാണുള്ളതെന്നും ശ്രീധരൻപിള്ള ചോദിച്ചു. ഹര്‍ത്താലിനോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് വാഹന ഗതാഗതം തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തുകയോ അക്രമങ്ങളില്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെടുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നവര്‍ക്കെതിരെ കര്‍ശന നടപടികള്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്ന് സംസ്ഥാന പോലീസ് മേധാവി ലോക്‌നാഥ് ബെഹ്‌റ അറിയിച്ചു.ശബരിമലയില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരെയും അക്രമകാരികളെയും പൂട്ടാന്‍ കച്ചകെട്ടി സര്‍ക്കാര്‍. നീലിമല, അപ്പാച്ചിമേട് ഭാഗത്തു പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരുണ്ടെന്നു സംശയം ഉയര്‍ന്നതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്നു പൊലീസ് അങ്ങോട്ടു തിരിച്ചു. പ്രശ്നക്കാരായ 50 പേര്‍ മലമുകളില്‍ ഉണ്ടെന്നാണു വിവരം ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇവര്‍ക്കായി പൊലീസ് തിരച്ചില്‍ തുടങ്ങി, നിലയ്ക്കലില്‍ കണ്‍ട്രോള്‍ റൂം തുറന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതിനിടെ ശബരിമല സംബന്ധിച്ച വ്യാജപ്രചരണങ്ങള്‍ക്കെതിരെ ശക്തമായ നടപടിയെടുക്കുമെന്ന് ഡിജിപി വ്യക്തമാക്കി, മതസ്പര്‍ധ വളര്‍ത്തുന്ന സന്ദേശങ്ങള്‍ നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. വാട്സപ്പിലടക്കം പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരെ കണ്ടെത്തുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

ശബരിമലയിലേക്ക് പോകാന്‍ തയ്യാറായി ഓണ്‍ലൈനില്‍ ബുക്ക് ചെയ്ത 10നും 50നും ഇടയില്‍ പ്രായമുള്ള യുവതികളെ ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ വഴി ശബരിമലയിലെത്തിക്കാന്‍ പൊലീസ് നീക്കം നടത്തുന്നതായി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്.
സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഉന്നത പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ച് ദി ഹിന്ദുവാണ് വാര്‍ത്ത പുറത്തുവിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. തിരുവനന്തപുരം, കൊച്ചി എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് യുവതികളെ ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ വഴി സന്നിധാനത്ത് എത്തിക്കാനാണ് നീക്കം. സംസ്ഥാനത്തിനകത്തു നിന്നും പുറത്തു നിന്നുമായി ശബരിമലയില്‍ പോകാന്‍ താല്‍പര്യമറിയിച്ച് ഓണ്‍ലൈനായി ബുക്ക് ചെയ്ത 560 യുവതികള്‍ക്കാണ് ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കാന്‍ പൊലീസ് നീക്കം നടത്തുന്നത്. പമ്പയില്‍ നിന്നും ശബരിമലവരെയുള്ള വനപാതയില്‍ വ്യാപകമായ പ്രതിഷേധ സാധ്യത മുന്നില്‍ കണ്ടാണ് പൊലീസിന്റെ നീക്കം. പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരോടുള്ള മൃദുസമീപനം മാറ്റാനും പൊലീസ് ആലോചിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. സുരക്ഷ നല്‍കാന്‍ കഴിയാതെ വന്നാല്‍ ഹൈക്കോടതിയുടേതടക്കം വിമര്‍ശനങ്ങള്‍ ഏല്‍ക്കേണ്ടി വരുമെന്നും പൊലീസ് ഭയക്കുന്നു. ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് താല്‍പര്യമറിയിച്ച യുവതികളെ സന്നധാനത്തെത്തിക്കാന്‍ ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കാന്‍ പൊലീസ് നീക്കം നടത്തുന്നത്. 560 യുവതികള്‍ക്ക് പുറമെ ഇതുവരെ 3.20 ലക്ഷം പുരുഷന്‍മാരും ഓണ്‍ലൈനായി ദര്‍ശനത്തിന് ബുക്ക് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്ക് പ്രവേശനമനത്തിന് സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തില്‍ പുനപരിശോധന ഹര്‍ജി പരിഗണിച്ച ശേഷമുള്ള സുപ്രിംകോടതി നിലപാടനുസരിച്ചാകും തീരുമാനമെന്നും മുതിര്‍ന്ന പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ പറഞ്ഞതായി ഹിന്ദുവിന്‍റെ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ പറയുന്നു. വിധി അനുകൂലമായാല്‍ ആവശ്യമായ നടപടിക്രമങ്ങള്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കാനാണ് പൊലീസിന്റെ തീരുമാനം. ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കാന്‍ വനംവകുപ്പിന്‍റെ അനുമതി ആവശ്യമുണ്ട്. അതിനൊപ്പം ഹെലികോപ്ടറിന് ലാന്‍റ് ചെയ്യാനുള്ള സൗകര്യവും ഒരുക്കണം. നേരത്തെ 1980ല്‍ ഇന്ധിരാഗാന്ധിക്ക് സന്ദര്‍ശനം നടത്താനായി നിര്‍മിച്ച ഹെലിപാഡ് പുനര്‍നിര്‍മിക്കാനുള്ള അനുമതിയും തേടും. ശബരിമലയില്‍ ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ ഇറങ്ങുന്ന സ്ഥലം മുതല്‍ സന്നിധാനം വരെയും തിരിച്ചും യുവതികള്‍ക്ക് കനത്ത സുരക്ഷയൊരുക്കാൻ പൊലീസ് പ്രത്യേക പാതയൊരുക്കി സംവിധാനമുണ്ടാക്കുമെന്നും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ പറയുന്നു.

ശബരിമലയിലെ നിരോധനാജ്ഞ പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലാ കലക്ടര്‍ നവംബര്‍ 26 വരെ നീട്ടി. എന്നാല്‍ തീര്‍ഥാടകര്‍ക്ക് സംഘം ചേര്‍ന്ന് ശരണം വിളിക്കുന്നതിന് വിലക്കുണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതല്ലെന്ന് ഉത്തരവില്‍ പ്രത്യേകം പറയുന്നു. ഇലവുങ്കല്‍, നിലയ്ക്കല്‍, പമ്പ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലും ഈ മാസം 26 അര്‍ധരാത്രിവരെ നിരോധനാജ്ഞ തുടരും. ജില്ലാ പൊലീസ് മേധാവിയുടേയും, എഡിഎമ്മിന്റെയും, സന്നിധാനത്തുള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് മജിസ്ട്രേറ്റുമാരുടേയും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് ജില്ലാ മജിസ്ട്രേറ്റ് കൂടിയായ കലക്ടര്‍ പി.ബി.നൂഹ് നിരോധനാജ്ഞ ദീര്‍ഘിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്. നിരോധനാജ്ഞ നിലനില്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ പോലും അതുലംഘിക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങള്‍ നടന്നതായി കലക്ടര്‍ വിലയിരുത്തി. ജനങ്ങള്‍ നിയമവിരുദ്ധമായി സംഘം ചേരുന്നതും, പ്രകടനം, പൊതുയോഗം, വഴിതടയല്‍ എന്നിവയും നിരോധിച്ചു. എന്നാല്‍ ശബരിമല ദര്‍ശനത്തിന് ഭക്തര്‍ കൂട്ടം ചേര്‍ന്ന് എത്തുന്നതിന് തടസമുണ്ടാകില്ലെന്ന് ഉത്തരവില്‍ പ്രത്യേകം പറയുന്നു. ജനുവരി 14 നിരോധനാജ്ഞ വരെ നീട്ടണമെന്ന് ജില്ലാ പൊലീസ് മേധാവി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. നിലവിലെ പ്രതിക്ഷേധങ്ങളും, സംഘര്‍ഷങ്ങളും കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് നിരോധനാജ്ഞ ദീര്‍ഘിപ്പിക്കണമെന്നായിരുന്നു എഡിഎമ്മിന്റെയും നിലപാട്. അതേസമയം, നിരോധനാജ്ഞ പിന്‍വലിക്കണമെന്ന ആവശ്യത്തില്‍ ഉറച്ച് നില്‍ക്കുകയാണ് ബിജെപിയും, കോണ്‍ഗ്രസും.

ശബരിമലയിലെ യുവതീപ്രവേശത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ സംസ്ഥാനത്തുണ്ടായത് ആസൂത്രിത സംഘര്‍ഷമെന്ന് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ആരോപിക്കുമ്പോഴും അറസ്റ്റ് നടപടികള്‍ സാധാരണ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരിലൊതുങ്ങുന്നു.
സംഘര്‍ഷത്തിന് പിന്നിലെ ഗൂഢാലോചന അന്വേഷിക്കാത്തതിനാല്‍ പ്രാദേശിക നേതാക്കള്‍ പോലും സുരക്ഷിതരാണ്. ആദ്യത്തെ ആവേശം കഴിഞ്ഞതോടെ അറസ്റ്റിന്‍റെ വേഗവും കുറഞ്ഞു. രണ്ട് ആഴ്ചക്കുള്ളില്‍ മുഴുവന്‍ പ്രതികളെയും പിടിക്കാന്‍ ഡിജിപി നിര്‍േദശം നല്‍കി. ശബരിമലയിലെ യുവതി പ്രവേശത്തിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് ഹര്‍ത്താലും വ്യാപകഅക്രമവും അരങ്ങേറിയത്. പലയിടത്തും ആര്‍.എസ്.എസും-സി.പി.എമ്മും ഏറ്റുമുട്ടിയത് കലാപസമാന അവസ്ഥ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു. സംഘര്‍ഷമൊഴിഞ്ഞ് സമാധാനം വീണ്ടെടുത്തതോടെ മുഴുവന്‍ അക്രമികളെയും പിടിക്കാനായി തുടങ്ങിയ പൊലീസ് നടപടികള്‍ ഇഴഞ്ഞ് തുടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
നെടുമങ്ങാട് ബോംബെറിഞ്ഞ് സംഘര്‍ഷം സൃഷ്ടിച്ച ആര്‍.എസ്.എസ് നേതാവ് പ്രവീണും കൂട്ടാളികളും ഇപ്പോളും ഒളിവിലാണ്.
പന്തളത്ത് കര്‍മസമിതി പ്രവര്‍ത്തകന്‍ ചന്ദ്രന്‍ ഉണ്ണിത്താനെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയ കേസിലെ പത്ത് ഡിവൈ.എഫ്.ഐക്കാരില്‍ അഞ്ച് പേരെ ഇനിയും പിടിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ആകെ മുപ്പത്തിയെണ്ണായിരം പ്രതികളുണ്ടെന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തിയെങ്കിലും ഇതുവരെ അറസ്റ്റിലായത് 14500 പേരാണ്. ആദ്യദിനങ്ങളില്‍ പ്രതിദിനം ആയിരത്തോളം പേരെ പിടിച്ചെങ്കില്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ മുന്നൂറില്‍ താഴെ മാത്രമാണ് അറസ്റ്റ്. അതും പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരില്‍ ഒതുങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ബി.ജെ.പിയുടെ ഏതാനും നിയോജകമണ്ഡലം ഭാരവാഹികളും സി.പി.എമ്മിന്റെ ചില ബ്രാഞ്ച് ഭാരവാഹികളുമാണ് പിടിയിലായതില്‍ നേതാക്കളെന്ന് പറയാവുന്നത്. ആക്രമണത്തില്‍ നേതാക്കള്‍ നേരിട്ട് പങ്കെടുത്തതിന് തെളിവില്ലെന്നതാണ് പൊലീസിന്റെ വിശദീകരണം.

ബിജെപി സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷന്‍ ശ്രീധരന്‍ പിള്ള ഭക്തരെന്ന വ്യാജേന നിലയ്കലിലെക്ക് പോകാന്‍ പാര്‍ട്ടി പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കുന്ന ശബ്ദ സന്ദേശം മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍ പുറത്തു വിട്ടു .നിലയ്ക്കലില്‍ നിരോധനാജ്ഞ ലംഘിക്കാന്‍ പാര്‍ട്ടിപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരോട് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്ത ബിജെപി സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷന്‍ പിഎസ്ശ്രീധരന്‍ പിള്ളയ്ക്ക് മറുപടിയുമായി ദേവസ്വം മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍. ശ്രീധരന്‍പിള്ളയുടെ ആഹ്വാനം കലാപം സൃഷ്ടിക്കാനുള്ള നീക്കത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണോ എന്നാണ് മന്ത്രി ചോദിച്ചത്. ശ്രീധരന്‍പിള്ള വ്യാജപ്രചരണം നടത്തുകയാണെന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.അല്ലയോ ശ്രീധരന്‍പിള്ളേ, എന്താണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ പരിപാടി എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചുകൊണ്ടാണ് കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍ പിഎസ്ശ്രീധരന്‍ പിള്ളയെ വിമര്‍ശിക്കാന്‍ ആരംഭിച്ചത്. ഭക്തരെന്ന വ്യാജേന ഇരുമുടിക്കെട്ടിന് സമാനമായ സഞ്ചിയേന്തി മാലയുമിട്ട് രണ്ട് പേര്‍ വീതമായി വേണം നിലയ്ക്കലിലേക്ക് പോകാനെന്ന് പാർട്ടി പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ക്കു നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദസന്ദേശം പരസ്യപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു മന്ത്രി മാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പില്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ചത്.
നിലയ്ക്കലില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം സംഘര്‍ഷമുണ്ടാക്കിയതും മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരെ ആക്രമിച്ചതും ബിജെപി ആര്‍എസ്എസ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ അല്ലെന്ന് ശ്രീധരന്‍ പിള്ള പറഞ്ഞു. അത്തരം അക്രമകാരികളെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചാണ് നിരോധനാജ്ഞ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. അത് ഭക്തരെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചല്ല’ മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
ആചാരത്തെയും അനുഷ്ഠാനങ്ങളെയും സംബന്ധിച്ച് സംസ്ഥാനസര്‍ക്കാരിന് അഭിപ്രായവ്യത്യാസങ്ങളൊന്നുമില്ല. ബിജെപി തന്നെ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ സുപ്രീംകോടതിയെ ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തിയാല്‍ മതിഎന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു .പിഎസ്ശ്രീധരന്‍ പിള്ള മാധ്യമങ്ങളെ തെരഞ്ഞുപിടിച്ച് കടന്നാക്രമിക്കുകയായിരുന്നെന്നും കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തി.

ശബരിമലയുടെ സുരക്ഷയില്‍ ഇടപെടുമെന്ന് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഹൈക്കോടതിയില്‍ ഹൈക്കോടതിയില്‍ സമര്‍പ്പിച്ച സത്യവാങ്മൂലത്തില്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ആചാരാനുഷ്ഠാനങ്ങളില്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഇടപെടാറില്ലെന്നും സുഗമമായ തീര്‍ഥാടനം ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തേണ്ടത് സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്വമാണെന്നും സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സത്യവാങ്മൂലത്തില്‍ പറയുന്നു. മതപരമോ ആചാരപരമോ ആയ കാര്യങ്ങളില്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഇടപെട്ടിട്ടില്ല. ഇനി ഇടപെടാന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നുമില്ല. സുഗമമായ തീര്‍ഥാടന കാലം ഉറപ്പുവരുത്താനുള്ള ക്രമീകരണങ്ങള്‍ ശബരിമലയില്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തും. ശബരിമലയുടെ ക്ഷേത്രകാര്യങ്ങളില്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഒരു ഘട്ടത്തിലും ഇടപെട്ടിട്ടില്ല. സുരക്ഷാ കാര്യങ്ങളില്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി നിര്‍ദേശങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. അത് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്വമാണെന്നും സത്യവാങ്മൂലത്തില്‍ പറയുന്നു. സ്ത്രീ പ്രവേശനം സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പൂര്‍ണമായും അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നതായി സത്യവാങ്മൂലത്തില്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. യഥാര്‍ഥ വിശ്വാസികള്‍ക്ക് ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കാനുള്ള എല്ലാ ക്രമീകരണങ്ങളും ചെയ്യുമെന്നും സത്യവാങ്മൂലത്തില്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. നാനാ ജാതി മതസ്ഥര്‍ക്ക് പ്രവേശനമുള്ള ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് ശബരിമലയെന്നും അതാണ് ശബരിമലയുടെ പാരമ്പര്യമെന്നും സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സത്യവാങ്മൂലത്തില്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുന്നു. ശബരിമലയില്‍ ഭക്തര്‍ക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ സൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഒരുക്കുന്നതിന് ദേവസ്വം ബോര്‍ഡിന് കോടിക്കണക്കിന് രൂപ സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഖജനാവില്‍നിന്ന് നല്‍കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഈ പണം ചിലവാക്കുന്നത് സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഉറപ്പുവരുത്താന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാരിന് ഇടപെടല്‍ നടത്താന്‍ അവകാശമുണ്ടെന്നും സത്യവാങ്മൂലത്തില്‍ പറയുന്നു.

ശബരിമലയിലെ നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങളിൽ ഇളവുവന്നതോടെ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച സന്നിധാനത്തേക്കുള്ള തീർഥാടകരുടെ എണ്ണം കൂടി. വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച വൈകീട്ടുവരെ 41,220 തീർഥാടകരാണെത്തിയത്. ഈ മണ്ഡലകാലത്ത് ഇത്രയധികം തീർഥാടകർ എത്തുന്നത് ആദ്യമായാണ്. വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് പമ്പയിലും പരിസരത്തും കനത്ത മഴ പെയ്തെങ്കിലും തിരക്കിനെ ബാധിച്ചില്ല.മണിക്കൂറിൽ രണ്ടായിരത്തിനും 2200-നുമിടയിൽ തീർഥാടകരാണ് മലകയറിയതെന്നാണ് പോലീസ് കണക്ക്. വെർച്വൽ ക്യു വഴി ദർശനത്തിനെത്തുന്നവരുടെ എണ്ണവും വർധിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ വർഷം മുതൽ ഗണപതിയമ്പലത്തിനോട് ചേർന്നുള്ള നടപ്പന്തലിലാണ് വെർച്വൽ ക്യുവിനുള്ള രേഖകൾ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നത്. മുൻവർഷങ്ങളിൽ രാമമൂർത്തി മണ്ഡപത്തിലായിരുന്നു ഇത്. തിരക്ക് വർധിച്ചതോടെ കെ.എസ്.ആർ.ടി.സി. നിലയ്ക്കൽ-പമ്പ ചെയിൻ സർവീസുകളുടെ ട്രിപ്പുകൾ ഇരട്ടിയാക്കി. വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച വൈകീട്ടുവരെമാത്രം നിലയ്ക്കലിൽനിന്ന് പമ്പയിലേക്ക് കെ.എസ്.ആർ.ടി.സി. 530 സർവീസുകൾ നടത്തി. 12,49,234 രൂപയായിരുന്നു കളക്‌ഷൻ. ഇതിനുമുമ്പുള്ള ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ ശരാശരി ഏഴുലക്ഷം രൂപയായിരുന്നു കളക്‌ഷൻ. 140 ബസുകളാണ് നിലയ്ക്കൽ-പമ്പ ചെയിൻ സർവീസിനായി കെ.എസ്.ആർ.ടി.സി. എത്തിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്.

കണ്ണൂര്‍ സ്വദേശികളായ രേഷ്മ, ഷാനില എന്നിവരെയാണ് കനത്ത സുരക്ഷയില്‍ പോലീസ് തിരിച്ചിറക്കിയത്.പമ്പയിലേക്കാണ് ഇവരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നത്. രണ്ടുവാഹനങ്ങളിലായി പമ്പയില്‍നിന്ന് ഇവരെ മാറ്റിയെന്നാണ് ലഭിക്കുന്ന വിവരം. ഇവര്‍ക്കൊപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരെയും പമ്പയിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. കണ്ണൂര്‍ കോഴിക്കോട് മേഖലയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള എട്ടുപേരുടെ സംഘമാണ്‌ മല കയറാനെത്തിയത്. പുലര്‍ച്ചെ നാലുമണിയോടെ മലകയറ്റം ആരംഭിച്ച ഇവരെ നീലിമലയില്‍വെച്ച് പ്രതിഷേധക്കാര്‍ തടയുകയായിരുന്നു. നാലരയോടെ നീലിമലയിലെ വാട്ടര്‍ ടാങ്കിനു സമീപമെത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ ചിലര്‍ ശരണം വിളിച്ച് പ്രതിഷേധവുമായെത്തി. തുടക്കത്തില്‍ കുറച്ച് പ്രതിഷേധക്കാര്‍ മാത്രമായിരുന്നു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍ പിന്നീട് കൂടുതലാളുകള്‍ എത്തി.
അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് കമ്മീഷണര്‍ എ പ്രദീപ് കുമാറെത്തി പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരോട് സംസാരിച്ചെങ്കിലും പിന്മാറാന്‍ ഇവര്‍ തയ്യാറായില്ല.
ദര്‍ശനം നടത്താതെ പിന്മാറില്ലെന്ന നിലപാട് യുവതികളും സ്വീകരിച്ചു. ശരണം വിളിച്ച് പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച അഞ്ചുപേരെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു നീക്കിയെങ്കിലും കൂടുതല്‍ പേര്‍ പ്രതിഷേധവുമായെത്തിയതോടെ യുവതികള്‍ക്ക് പോലീസ് സംരക്ഷണവലയം തീര്‍ത്തു. തുടര്‍ന്ന് മൂന്നരമണിക്കൂറിനു ശേഷം പോലീസ് യുവതികളെ ബലംപ്രയോഗിച്ച് തിരിച്ചിറക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
മുണ്ടും ഷര്‍ട്ടും ധരിച്ച്, പെട്ടെന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിയാനാകാത്ത വേഷവിധാനത്തിലാണ് യുവതികള്‍ ദര്‍ശനത്തിനെത്തിയത്.

Sabarimala Ayyappa swamy Real History
Sabarimala is a well-known pilgrim center of Kerala. The temple observes an annual festival where hundreds of devotees come after observing complete abstinence from the worldly affairs. Sabarimala festival is celebrated from the month of November to mid January. During this time, Mandal Puja and Makar Sankranti Puja are the two main occasions when temple is visited by thousands of people. Makar Sankranti (14 Jan') is considered as the most propitious day of the pilgrimage.
An amazing fact about Sabarimala Temple is that this shrine is open to people from all religions, castes, creed or color. The preponderance of pilgrims is made by men, who are required to observe fast for forty days. During this period, one needs to observe celibacy and undergoes daily prayer rituals. Young Girls, who have not yet attained the age of puberty and Women, who have reached the phase of menopause can attend the pilgrimage to Sabarimala.
Before starting the journey, devotes take a ritual bath in the sacred river 'Pamba', which is assumed to wash away one's sins. Devotees carry packs enclosing contain conventional offerings like coconut filled with ghee, camphor and rice on their heads. When they arrive at the temple steps, they break the coconut here and continue forward to get the glimpse of the Lord.
