Sabarimala temple is dedicated to Ayyappa, the God of growth. Prince Manikandan is considered an Avatar of Ayyappa. It is believed that he meditated at Sabarimala temple and became one with the divine.Sabarimala is a prominent Hindu temple located on a hilltop in Kerala's Pathanamthitta district. It is surrounded by 18 hills in the Periyar Tiger Reserve. The temple is dedicated to Ayyappa, the God of growth. The temple attracts pilgrims from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh and from various parts of the country and the world. The temple is open for worship only during the days of Mandalapooja in November-December, Makara Sankranti on January 14 and Maha Vishuva Sankranti on April 14, and the first five days of each Malayalam month.
Origin
Sabarimala is an ancient temple. It was mostly unreachable for about three centuries after its installation. In the 12th century, a prince of Pandalam Dynasty, Manikandan, rediscovered the original path to reach Sabarimala. He had many followers with him, including the descendants of the Vavar (a Muslim warrior whom Manikandan defeated) family. This Prince is considered an Avatar of Ayyappa. ഈ മണ്ഡല സീസണില്‍ തന്നെ ശബരിമലയില്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കാന്‍ ആണ് ത്രിപ്തിയുടെ തീരുമാനം. ഒരു കൂട്ടം സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് ഒപ്പമായിരിക്കും താന്‍ എത്തുക. തിയ്യതി ഒരാഴ്ചക്കുള്ളില്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുമെന്നും തൃപ്തി ദേശായി പറയുന്നു . സുപ്രീം കോടതി വിധിയില്‍ അതീവ സന്തോഷവതിയാണ് തൃപ്തി. അയ്യപ്പഭക്തരുടെ അഭിപ്രായം കൂടെ കേട്ട ശേഷമുണ്ടായ കോടതിവിധിയ്ക്കെതിരെ സമര്ടം ചെയ്യുന്നത് കോടതിയലക്ഷ്യമാണെന്നും തൃപ്തി ചൂണ്ടികാണിക്കുന്നു. കേരളത്തില്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ സുപ്രീം കോടതി വിധിക്കതിരെ നടക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങള്‍ അനാവശ്യമാണ്. ഇത് ഭരണഘടനാ വിരുദ്ധവും സ്ത്രീകളുടെ മൗലികാവകാശങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് എതിരുമാണ്. ഇത്തരം സമരങ്ങള്‍ എന്ത് കൊണ്ട് നടത്തുന്നു എന്ന് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസും ബി.ജെ.പിയും വ്യക്തമാക്കണം. ശബരിമലയില്‍ എത്തുന്ന സ്ത്രീകളെ സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുകയാണ് എല്ലാവരും ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്. തൃപ്തി ദേശായി പറഞ്ഞു.
മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയിലെ ശനിശിംഘ്‌നാപുര്‍ ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്ക് പ്രവേശനം നേടാനായി നടത്തിയ സമരങ്ങളിലൂടെയാണ് ഭൂമാതാ ബ്രിഗേഡ് എന്ന സ്ത്രീപക്ഷ സംഘടനയും അതിന്റെ നേതാവായ തൃപ്തി ദേശായിയും ദേശീയതലത്തില്‍ ശ്രദ്ധ നേടുന്നത്. വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ നീണ്ട പോരാട്ടത്തിനൊടുവില്‍ ശനിശിംഘ്‌നാപുര്‍ ക്ഷേത്രം, ഹാജി അലി ദര്‍ഗ്ഗ, പൂനെ മഹാലക്ഷ്മി ക്ഷേത്രം എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ സ്ത്രിപ്രവേശനം സാധ്യമാക്കിയ ശേഷമാണ് ഇവര്‍ ശബരിമലയിലെ സ്ത്രീപ്രവേശന വിഷയം ഏറ്റെടുത്തത്.

ശബരിമലയിലെ യുവതി പ്രവേശനവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് നിലവിലെ സ്ഥിതി അതീവ ഗുരുതരമാണെന്ന് ശബരിമല സ്പെഷ്യല്‍ കമ്മീഷണര്‍ ഹൈക്കോടതിയില്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് നല്‍കി. ഈ സ്ഥിതി തുടര്‍ന്നാല്‍ മണ്ഡലകാലം കലുഷിതമാകും. ഇരുമുടിക്കെട്ടില്ലാതെ പതിനെട്ടാംപടി കയറിയത് ആചാരലംഘനമാണ്. ചിത്തിര ആട്ട വിശേഷത്തിന് സ്ത്രീകളെ തടഞ്ഞത് തെറ്റാണെന്നും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ പറയുന്നു.
സുരക്ഷാഭീഷണിയുള്ള തീര്‍ഥാടന കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ് ശബരിമല. രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാര്‍ട്ടികളുടെ പ്രക്ഷോഭത്തിന് നിയന്ത്രണം ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തണം. അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ദേശവിരുദ്ധ ശക്തികളും ക്രിമിനലുകളും നിലവിലെ സാഹചര്യം മുതലെടുക്കുമെന്നും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കുന്നു. അതേസമയം, യുവതി പ്രവേശനം ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തുള്ള റിട്ട്, റിവ്യൂ ഹര്‍ജികള്‍ സുപ്രീം കേടതി ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച പരിഗണിക്കും. ശബരിമല വിഷയത്തില്‍ സി.പി.എമ്മിന്റെ നിലപാടില്‍ ഒരു മാറ്റവുമുണ്ടാവില്ലെന്ന് സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറി കോടിയേരി ബാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. അടുത്ത ലോക്സഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ സിപിഎമ്മിന് ഒരു സീറ്റുപോലും കിട്ടിയില്ലെങ്കിലും നിലപാടില്‍ മാറ്റംവരുത്തില്ല. എന്തു പ്രത്യാഘാതം ഉണ്ടായാലും യുവതി പ്രവേശനം സംബന്ധിച്ച സുപ്രീം കോടതി വിധി നടപ്പാക്കും.ആര്‍.എസ്.എസ് നേതാവ് വത്സല്‍ തില്ലങ്കേരി ഇരുമുടിക്കെട്ടില്ലാതെ പതിനെട്ടാംപടി ചവിട്ടിയത് ആചാരലംഘനമാണെന്ന് തിരുവിതാംകൂര്‍ ദേവസ്വംബോര്‍ഡ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് എ.പത്മകുമാര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
ശബരിമലയിലെ യുവതി പ്രവേശന വിധി അനുസരിക്കാന്‍ ഭരണഘടനാസ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ബാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്നും പത്മകുമാര്‍ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

ശബരിമലയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വിവിധ ഹര്‍ജികള്‍ ഇന്ന് ഹൈക്കോടതി പരിഗണിക്കും.തുലാമാസ പൂജ, ചിത്തിര ആട്ട വിശേഷ സമയങ്ങളിൽ നടന്ന അക്രമ സംഭവങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് സര്‍ക്കാർ സത്യവാങ്‌മൂലം സമർപ്പിക്കും. ശബരിമലയിലെ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യം സംബന്ധിച്ച് ദേവസ്വം ബോർഡും ഇന്ന് കോടതിയില്‍ വിശദീകരണം നൽകും. ശബരിമലയിൽ അക്രമം നടത്തിയ പോലീസ് കാർക്കെതിരെ നടപടി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് ശബരിമല ആചാര്യ സംരക്ഷണ സമിതി ചെയർമാൻ അനോജ് കുമാർ സമർപ്പിച്ച ഹർജിയും ഇന്നു കോടതിയുടെ പരിഗണയിലുണ്ട്. ശബരിമലയില്‍ നടന്ന സംഭവങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സ്പെഷ്യല്‍ കമ്മീഷന്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്, പ്രളയാനന്തര നിര്‍മാണ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ വേഗത്തിലല്ലെന്ന റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്, എന്നിവയും ഡിവിഷന്‍ ബഞ്ചിന്റെ പരിഗണനയിലുണ്ട്.

യൂണിഫോമിലുള്ള പൊലീസുകാർ യുവതികൾക്ക് അകമ്പടി പോകുന്നതിനാലാണു പെട്ടെന്നു തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നതും പ്രതിഷേധം ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതുമെന്നാണ് വിലയിരുത്തൽ.
ഇതേ തുടർന്നാണ് അയ്യപ്പവേഷം ധരിച്ച പൊലീസ് മതിയെന്നു തീരുമാനിച്ചത്. കണ്ണൂരിൽ നിന്നുള്ള പൊലീസുകാരാണ് ഈ സംഘത്തിൽ ഏറെയും.യുവതികൾ സന്നിധാനത്തിൽ എത്തിയ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ എടുക്കുന്നതും ഇതേ പൊലീസ് സംഘമാണ്. തെളിവിനാണ് ചിത്രം എടുക്കുന്നത്. അപ്പോൾത്തന്നെ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ ഓഫിസിലേക്കും അയച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. സ്ഥിരീകരണത്തിനായി സന്നിധാനത്തെ സിസിടിവി ദൃശ്യങ്ങളും അപ്പോൾത്തന്നെ ശേഖരിച്ച് അയയ്ക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ശ്രീലങ്കയിൽ നിന്നുവന്ന ശശികല (47)യുടേതായി പുറത്തുവിട്ട ദൃശ്യം മാറിപ്പോയത് പദ്ധതിയിലെ പാളിച്ചയാണെന്നും അതുണ്ടാകാതിരിക്കാൻ അതീവജാഗ്രത പാലിക്കണമെന്നും നിർദേശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
സന്നിധാനത്തേക്കു പോകാനെത്തുന്ന യുവതികളെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള വിവരങ്ങൾ അതീവരഹസ്യമായി സൂക്ഷിക്കണമെന്നാണ് മറ്റൊരു നിർദേശം.

ശബരിമല വിഷയത്തില്‍ കര്‍മസമിതി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ തുടങ്ങി. അതേസമയം നിലയ്ക്കല്‍ വീണ്ടും സഖര്‍ഷ ഭൂമിയാകുന്നു. യുവമോർച്ച സംസ്ഥാ അധ്യക്ഷൻ പ്രകാശ് ബാബുവിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ആറോളം പേരെത്തിയാണു നിരോധനാജ്ഞ ലംഘിച്ചത്. 41 പ്രവർത്തകരെത്തുമെന്ന് ബിജെപി സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷൻ പി.എസ്.ശ്രീധരൻപിള്ള പറഞ്ഞതിന്റെ തൊട്ടുപിന്നാലെ തന്നെ ഇവർ നിലയ്ക്കലിലെത്തി. പ്രതീകാത്മ സമരത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായിട്ടാണ് നിരോധനാജ്ഞ ലംഘിക്കലെന്ന് ശ്രീധരൻ പിള്ള പറഞ്ഞു. ശബരിമലയിലെ പൊലീസ് നടപടിയിൽ ജുഡീഷ്യൽ അന്വേഷണം വേണം. പ്രാർഥന നടത്തുന്നവരുടെ പന്തൽ പൊളിക്കാൻ പൊലീസിന് എന്തധികാരമാണുള്ളതെന്നും ശ്രീധരൻപിള്ള ചോദിച്ചു. ഹര്‍ത്താലിനോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് വാഹന ഗതാഗതം തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തുകയോ അക്രമങ്ങളില്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെടുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നവര്‍ക്കെതിരെ കര്‍ശന നടപടികള്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്ന് സംസ്ഥാന പോലീസ് മേധാവി ലോക്‌നാഥ് ബെഹ്‌റ അറിയിച്ചു.ശബരിമലയില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരെയും അക്രമകാരികളെയും പൂട്ടാന്‍ കച്ചകെട്ടി സര്‍ക്കാര്‍. നീലിമല, അപ്പാച്ചിമേട് ഭാഗത്തു പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരുണ്ടെന്നു സംശയം ഉയര്‍ന്നതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്നു പൊലീസ് അങ്ങോട്ടു തിരിച്ചു. പ്രശ്നക്കാരായ 50 പേര്‍ മലമുകളില്‍ ഉണ്ടെന്നാണു വിവരം ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇവര്‍ക്കായി പൊലീസ് തിരച്ചില്‍ തുടങ്ങി, നിലയ്ക്കലില്‍ കണ്‍ട്രോള്‍ റൂം തുറന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതിനിടെ ശബരിമല സംബന്ധിച്ച വ്യാജപ്രചരണങ്ങള്‍ക്കെതിരെ ശക്തമായ നടപടിയെടുക്കുമെന്ന് ഡിജിപി വ്യക്തമാക്കി, മതസ്പര്‍ധ വളര്‍ത്തുന്ന സന്ദേശങ്ങള്‍ നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. വാട്സപ്പിലടക്കം പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരെ കണ്ടെത്തുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

ശബരിമലയിലേക്ക് പോകാന്‍ തയ്യാറായി ഓണ്‍ലൈനില്‍ ബുക്ക് ചെയ്ത 10നും 50നും ഇടയില്‍ പ്രായമുള്ള യുവതികളെ ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ വഴി ശബരിമലയിലെത്തിക്കാന്‍ പൊലീസ് നീക്കം നടത്തുന്നതായി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്.
സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഉന്നത പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ച് ദി ഹിന്ദുവാണ് വാര്‍ത്ത പുറത്തുവിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. തിരുവനന്തപുരം, കൊച്ചി എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് യുവതികളെ ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ വഴി സന്നിധാനത്ത് എത്തിക്കാനാണ് നീക്കം. സംസ്ഥാനത്തിനകത്തു നിന്നും പുറത്തു നിന്നുമായി ശബരിമലയില്‍ പോകാന്‍ താല്‍പര്യമറിയിച്ച് ഓണ്‍ലൈനായി ബുക്ക് ചെയ്ത 560 യുവതികള്‍ക്കാണ് ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കാന്‍ പൊലീസ് നീക്കം നടത്തുന്നത്. പമ്പയില്‍ നിന്നും ശബരിമലവരെയുള്ള വനപാതയില്‍ വ്യാപകമായ പ്രതിഷേധ സാധ്യത മുന്നില്‍ കണ്ടാണ് പൊലീസിന്റെ നീക്കം. പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരോടുള്ള മൃദുസമീപനം മാറ്റാനും പൊലീസ് ആലോചിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. സുരക്ഷ നല്‍കാന്‍ കഴിയാതെ വന്നാല്‍ ഹൈക്കോടതിയുടേതടക്കം വിമര്‍ശനങ്ങള്‍ ഏല്‍ക്കേണ്ടി വരുമെന്നും പൊലീസ് ഭയക്കുന്നു. ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് താല്‍പര്യമറിയിച്ച യുവതികളെ സന്നധാനത്തെത്തിക്കാന്‍ ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കാന്‍ പൊലീസ് നീക്കം നടത്തുന്നത്. 560 യുവതികള്‍ക്ക് പുറമെ ഇതുവരെ 3.20 ലക്ഷം പുരുഷന്‍മാരും ഓണ്‍ലൈനായി ദര്‍ശനത്തിന് ബുക്ക് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്ക് പ്രവേശനമനത്തിന് സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തില്‍ പുനപരിശോധന ഹര്‍ജി പരിഗണിച്ച ശേഷമുള്ള സുപ്രിംകോടതി നിലപാടനുസരിച്ചാകും തീരുമാനമെന്നും മുതിര്‍ന്ന പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ പറഞ്ഞതായി ഹിന്ദുവിന്‍റെ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ പറയുന്നു. വിധി അനുകൂലമായാല്‍ ആവശ്യമായ നടപടിക്രമങ്ങള്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കാനാണ് പൊലീസിന്റെ തീരുമാനം. ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കാന്‍ വനംവകുപ്പിന്‍റെ അനുമതി ആവശ്യമുണ്ട്. അതിനൊപ്പം ഹെലികോപ്ടറിന് ലാന്‍റ് ചെയ്യാനുള്ള സൗകര്യവും ഒരുക്കണം. നേരത്തെ 1980ല്‍ ഇന്ധിരാഗാന്ധിക്ക് സന്ദര്‍ശനം നടത്താനായി നിര്‍മിച്ച ഹെലിപാഡ് പുനര്‍നിര്‍മിക്കാനുള്ള അനുമതിയും തേടും. ശബരിമലയില്‍ ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ ഇറങ്ങുന്ന സ്ഥലം മുതല്‍ സന്നിധാനം വരെയും തിരിച്ചും യുവതികള്‍ക്ക് കനത്ത സുരക്ഷയൊരുക്കാൻ പൊലീസ് പ്രത്യേക പാതയൊരുക്കി സംവിധാനമുണ്ടാക്കുമെന്നും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ പറയുന്നു.

ശബരിമലയിലെ നിരോധനാജ്ഞ പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലാ കലക്ടര്‍ നവംബര്‍ 26 വരെ നീട്ടി. എന്നാല്‍ തീര്‍ഥാടകര്‍ക്ക് സംഘം ചേര്‍ന്ന് ശരണം വിളിക്കുന്നതിന് വിലക്കുണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതല്ലെന്ന് ഉത്തരവില്‍ പ്രത്യേകം പറയുന്നു. ഇലവുങ്കല്‍, നിലയ്ക്കല്‍, പമ്പ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലും ഈ മാസം 26 അര്‍ധരാത്രിവരെ നിരോധനാജ്ഞ തുടരും. ജില്ലാ പൊലീസ് മേധാവിയുടേയും, എഡിഎമ്മിന്റെയും, സന്നിധാനത്തുള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് മജിസ്ട്രേറ്റുമാരുടേയും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് ജില്ലാ മജിസ്ട്രേറ്റ് കൂടിയായ കലക്ടര്‍ പി.ബി.നൂഹ് നിരോധനാജ്ഞ ദീര്‍ഘിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്. നിരോധനാജ്ഞ നിലനില്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ പോലും അതുലംഘിക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങള്‍ നടന്നതായി കലക്ടര്‍ വിലയിരുത്തി. ജനങ്ങള്‍ നിയമവിരുദ്ധമായി സംഘം ചേരുന്നതും, പ്രകടനം, പൊതുയോഗം, വഴിതടയല്‍ എന്നിവയും നിരോധിച്ചു. എന്നാല്‍ ശബരിമല ദര്‍ശനത്തിന് ഭക്തര്‍ കൂട്ടം ചേര്‍ന്ന് എത്തുന്നതിന് തടസമുണ്ടാകില്ലെന്ന് ഉത്തരവില്‍ പ്രത്യേകം പറയുന്നു. ജനുവരി 14 നിരോധനാജ്ഞ വരെ നീട്ടണമെന്ന് ജില്ലാ പൊലീസ് മേധാവി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. നിലവിലെ പ്രതിക്ഷേധങ്ങളും, സംഘര്‍ഷങ്ങളും കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് നിരോധനാജ്ഞ ദീര്‍ഘിപ്പിക്കണമെന്നായിരുന്നു എഡിഎമ്മിന്റെയും നിലപാട്. അതേസമയം, നിരോധനാജ്ഞ പിന്‍വലിക്കണമെന്ന ആവശ്യത്തില്‍ ഉറച്ച് നില്‍ക്കുകയാണ് ബിജെപിയും, കോണ്‍ഗ്രസും.

ശബരിമലയിലെ യുവതീപ്രവേശത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ സംസ്ഥാനത്തുണ്ടായത് ആസൂത്രിത സംഘര്‍ഷമെന്ന് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ആരോപിക്കുമ്പോഴും അറസ്റ്റ് നടപടികള്‍ സാധാരണ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരിലൊതുങ്ങുന്നു.
സംഘര്‍ഷത്തിന് പിന്നിലെ ഗൂഢാലോചന അന്വേഷിക്കാത്തതിനാല്‍ പ്രാദേശിക നേതാക്കള്‍ പോലും സുരക്ഷിതരാണ്. ആദ്യത്തെ ആവേശം കഴിഞ്ഞതോടെ അറസ്റ്റിന്‍റെ വേഗവും കുറഞ്ഞു. രണ്ട് ആഴ്ചക്കുള്ളില്‍ മുഴുവന്‍ പ്രതികളെയും പിടിക്കാന്‍ ഡിജിപി നിര്‍േദശം നല്‍കി. ശബരിമലയിലെ യുവതി പ്രവേശത്തിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് ഹര്‍ത്താലും വ്യാപകഅക്രമവും അരങ്ങേറിയത്. പലയിടത്തും ആര്‍.എസ്.എസും-സി.പി.എമ്മും ഏറ്റുമുട്ടിയത് കലാപസമാന അവസ്ഥ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു. സംഘര്‍ഷമൊഴിഞ്ഞ് സമാധാനം വീണ്ടെടുത്തതോടെ മുഴുവന്‍ അക്രമികളെയും പിടിക്കാനായി തുടങ്ങിയ പൊലീസ് നടപടികള്‍ ഇഴഞ്ഞ് തുടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
നെടുമങ്ങാട് ബോംബെറിഞ്ഞ് സംഘര്‍ഷം സൃഷ്ടിച്ച ആര്‍.എസ്.എസ് നേതാവ് പ്രവീണും കൂട്ടാളികളും ഇപ്പോളും ഒളിവിലാണ്.
പന്തളത്ത് കര്‍മസമിതി പ്രവര്‍ത്തകന്‍ ചന്ദ്രന്‍ ഉണ്ണിത്താനെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയ കേസിലെ പത്ത് ഡിവൈ.എഫ്.ഐക്കാരില്‍ അഞ്ച് പേരെ ഇനിയും പിടിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ആകെ മുപ്പത്തിയെണ്ണായിരം പ്രതികളുണ്ടെന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തിയെങ്കിലും ഇതുവരെ അറസ്റ്റിലായത് 14500 പേരാണ്. ആദ്യദിനങ്ങളില്‍ പ്രതിദിനം ആയിരത്തോളം പേരെ പിടിച്ചെങ്കില്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ മുന്നൂറില്‍ താഴെ മാത്രമാണ് അറസ്റ്റ്. അതും പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരില്‍ ഒതുങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ബി.ജെ.പിയുടെ ഏതാനും നിയോജകമണ്ഡലം ഭാരവാഹികളും സി.പി.എമ്മിന്റെ ചില ബ്രാഞ്ച് ഭാരവാഹികളുമാണ് പിടിയിലായതില്‍ നേതാക്കളെന്ന് പറയാവുന്നത്. ആക്രമണത്തില്‍ നേതാക്കള്‍ നേരിട്ട് പങ്കെടുത്തതിന് തെളിവില്ലെന്നതാണ് പൊലീസിന്റെ വിശദീകരണം.
