डाला छठ संगम सहित सभी घाटों पर महिलाओं ने डूबते सूर्य को दिया अर्घ्य

प्रयागराज के माघ मेले से पहले शहर एक और मेले के आनंद में डूबा। चार दिनी सूर्यषष्ठी व्रत के तीसरे दिन बुधवार को डाला छठ पर न सिर्फ संगम बल्कि सलोरी, अरैल, रामघाट, बलुआघाट, गऊघाट, द्रौपदी घाट, बरगदघाट और करेलाबाग के सुब्बनघाट पर भी श्रद्धालुओं की भारी भीड़ उमड़ी। ज्यादातर रास्ते घाटों की ओर मुड़े। दोपहर के बाद से ही घाटों की ओर जाने और सूरज के डूबने के बाद लौटने से सड़कें श्रद्धालुओं से ही भरी रहीं। घर से लेकर घाटों तक छठी माई की महिमा के गीत गूंजते ही रहे। पूरे शहर में मेले जैसा माहौल रहा।
मंगलगीतों के बीच पति एवं बेटे की मंगलकामना के लिए बड़ी संख्या में घाटों पर पहुंचीं महिलाओं ने अस्ताचलगामी सूर्य को अर्घ्य दिया। घाट पर कमर या घुटने भर पानी में खड़ी होकर महिलाओं ने आंचल में सजा हुआ डाला लेकर अस्ताचलगामी यानी डूबते हुए सूर्य को अर्घ्य दिया और बेटे एवं पति की मंगलकामना के लिए आशीष मांगा। इससे पहले घाट किनारे ईखें जोड़ीं गईं और मिट्टी को लीपकर वेदी बनाई गई। संगम पर यमुना पट्टी से लेकर गंगा पट्टी तक व्रती महिलाओं की कई-कई कतारें लगीं। जिसे जहां जगह मिली, उसने वहीं पूजा की वेदी बनाई। मंगलगीतों के बीच कलश स्थापना के बाद धूप, दीप, नैवेद्य, फल चढ़ाकर सूर्यदेव पूजे गए। दीप जलाकर आरती उतारी गई।
