Career
Uttej was introduced by Ram Gopal Varma with the Telugu film Siva in 1989. He has given life to so many heros and directors by introducing them to Ram Gopal Varma and Krishna Vamsi. like Ravi Teja, Bramhaji etc., His mentor Krishna Vamsi gave him life on the Silver Screen by introducing him to Ram Gopal Varma. He won the Nandi Award for the film Chandamama as a comedian. He acted along with many lead actors and also worked as assistant director to Krishna Vamsi for the film Gulabi.
Personal life
He completed his schooling at Jangaon,Warangal. He has two daughters named Chetana who is a child artist and acted in Teja's Chitram and Paata who is also an artist, famous for her parodi song Orayyo Olammo.
