ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ഒരു മാസത്തിനുള്ളിൽ നടത്തും
സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ആദ്യ ടിബറ്റൻ ബുദ്ധക്ഷേത്രവും പഠനകേന്ദ്രവും കോട്ടയം പാലായ്ക്കുസമീപം വേഴാങ്ങാനം ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ഒരുങ്ങുന്നു. കോഴിക്കോട് ആസ്ഥാനമായുള്ള മഹാബോധി ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ സ്പിരിച്വൽ ട്രസ്റ്റാണ് നേതൃത്വം നൽകുന്നത്.കർണാടകയിലെ ബൈലക്കുപ്പയിലെ ബുദ്ധസന്ന്യാസിമാരുടെ നിർദേശപ്രകാരമാണ് ക്ഷേത്രനിർമാണം. ഒരുവർഷംമുമ്പ് ബൈലക്കുപ്പയിലെ കെംപോജിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള സന്ന്യാസിസംഘം ഇവിടെയെത്തിയാണ് ക്ഷേത്രശിലാസ്ഥാപനം നടത്തിയത്.
700 ചതുരശ്രയടി വിസ്തീർണത്തിലുള്ള ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ അഞ്ച്‌ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു. ബുദ്ധൻ, അമിതാഭ ബുദ്ധ, ഗുരു റിമ്പോച്ചി, അവലോകിതേശ്വരൻ, മഞ്ജുശ്രീ എന്നിവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാണ് സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ഒരു മാസത്തിനുള്ളിൽ നടത്തും. ടിബറ്റൻ ബുദ്ധഭിക്ഷുക്കൾക്ക് താമസിക്കാനുള്ള സംഘാരാമത്തിനും അന്ന് തറക്കല്ലിടും. ബുദ്ധസന്ദേശങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിവുപകരുന്ന കേന്ദ്രമായും ക്ഷേത്രം മാറുമെന്ന് ട്രസ്റ്റ് ഭാരവാഹികള്‍ അറിയിച്ചു
