AI India 2021: Session on AI in Healthcare

AI is expected to boost India’s annual growth rate by 1.3% by 2035. It is estimated by various industry experts that, AI has the potential to add US$957 billion, or 15 percent of current gross value added, to India’s economy in 2035.Across the world, G20 countries have been building up their AI capabilities. The Government of India has put a lot emphasis to promote AI Innovation, large scale adoption & deployment of AI thriving India in a global market with help of AI initiatives in a variety of economic and social sectors, towards ‘AI for ALL’.
Resonating the above vision, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is working together with global thought leaders, policy makers, researchers, technology experts and academicians to organize 2nd edition of Artificial Intelligence India (AI India 2021) from 25 February-24 March 2021 at CII Hive virtual platform. AI India is leading the way in shaping India’s vision of ‘Technology Leadership for Inclusive Growth’ with a focus on leveraging AI for inclusive socio-economic growth (Empowering 1 Billion+) in line with the Government policy of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
CII has taken the initiative to build a responsible AI ecosystem in India, collaborate and sensitize various experts, leaders, technology players and other stakeholders to compliment national strategy, public services, other pressing priorities and bring in investment to support the ‘Make in India’ vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister.
The AI India 2021 will flag important issues like ethics, bias, transparency and privacy in making AI responsible, promote AI adoption and skilling challenges, focus on 12 sectors specially in agriculture, healthcare, education & skills, transportation & mobility and smart infrastructure where investment is necessary.
