कठोर, अकल्पनीय और क्रूर........ जी हाँ दोस्तों, चीन के शंघाई शहर में लगातार पिछले 2 महीने से चलने वाले लॉकडाउन की व्याख्या करने के लिए शायद इससे बेहतर और कोई शब्द हो ही नहीं सकते। करोड़ों लोगों को उनके घर में क़ैद करके रखा गया, उनके साथ हर तरह की सख्ती और क्रूर व्यवहार किया गया। लोगों का कुछ ऐसा आलम हो गया कि उनके लिए अपने-अपने घरों से बाहर निकलकर खुले आसमान के नीचे भी आना, एक सपना जैसा हो गया। मगर बीते दिन चीन के शंघाई शहर में लोगों का यह दुर्लभ सपना फिरसे उनकी ज़िंदगी का जीता-जागता हक़ीक़त बन गया। पिछले 2 महीने से इस कठोर लॉकडाउन के साये में धुँधली पड़ती सारी उम्मीदों और अँधेरे के आग़ोश में लुप्त हो चुके 25 million लोगों को बीते दिन मानो जैसे एक बार फिरसे ज़िंदगी के उजाले ने गले लगा लिया हो। वो खुला आसमान, घरों के बाहर खड़ा वो बेईम्तहां जहाँ,वो सड़कों पर दौड़ता ज़िंदगी का वही कारवाँ....... मानो कि ये सभी पलकें बिछाकर खड़े थे शंघाई शहर के लोगों के लिए। 2 महीने के कठोर संघर्ष के बाद बाद अंततः फिरसे लौट आई वही ज़िंदगी, जब बीते दिन चीनी सरकार ने शंघाई से हटाया मानव इतिहास का सबसे क्रूर और अविस्मरणीय लॉकडाउन।

चीन में कोरोना का आँकड़ा और इसका कठोर असर बहुत ही तेज़ी से फैलता जा रहा है। चीन के सबसे बड़े शहर शंघाई में 22 अप्रैल को कोरोना के चलते 12 लोगों की मौत हो गई, एक दिन पहले यह आंकड़ा 11 था। आपको सुनने में भले ही यह आंकड़ा छोटा लगे लेकिन देश में इसका बेहद व्यापक असर पड़ रहा है। करीब पांच हफ्तों से लगा लॉकडाउन अब और ज़्यादा सख्त होने जा रहा है। शुरुआत में लॉकडाउन सिर्फ कुछ इलाकों में लगा था जो अब पूरे शहर में फैल चुका है। शुरुआत में कुछ ढील देने के बाद सख्त नियम लागू करके करोड़ों लोगों को घरों में कैद कर दिया गया है। लोग भूख से तड़प रहे हैं, कोरोना के ख़ौफ़ में जी रहे हैं, खिड़कियों और बालकनियों से चिल्ला रहे हैं, पुलिस से भिड़ रहे हैं और जीवनयापन के बेहद मामूली स्तर के लिए संघर्ष कर रहे हैं। उनके सामने खड़ी है चीन की बेहद कठोर ज़ीरो कोविड पॉलिसी। तो इसी के साथ अब हमारा यह जानना बेहद ज़रूरी हो जाता है कि

चीन में कोरोना की वजह से स्थिति बद से बदतर की ओर जाती दिख रही है। शुक्रवार को वहां 3,400 से अधिक लोग जांच में कोरोना संक्रमित पाये गये, जबकि बिना लक्षण वाले कोरोना संक्रमित मरीज़ों की संख्या 20,700 दर्ज की गई। और अगर खासकर बात करें तो चीन की सर्वाधिक आबादी वाले शंघाई शहर में स्थिति और ज़्यादा चिंता में डालने वाली है। लंबे समय से लॉकडाउन के बावजूद चीन के शंघाई शहर में सबसे अधिक मामले पाये गये हैं। शंघाई में प्रतिदिन मिलने वाले नये मरीज़ों की संख्या लगातार सबसे अधिक है। यहाँ इलाज के इंतज़ार में एक बुज़ुर्ग महिला की मौत को लेकर लोगों में नाराज़गी के मद्देनजर अस्पतालों को आदेश दिया गया है कि वे गैर कोरोना मरीज़ों के इलाज में देरी नहीं करें।
