Vanessa Bryant, NBA star Kobe Bryant's wife of 11 years, (pictured above with their two daughters) recently gave an interview to New York Magazine for a profile on basketball players' wives. And she had some interesting things to say.
On Kobe's basketball career:
"I love basketball. And I know what goes on behind the scenes, so I have a different perspective on things, but still, I do. I certainly would not want to be married to somebody that can't win championships. If you're sacrificing time away from my family and myself for the benefit of winning championships, then winning a championship should happen every single year."

"I don't like the limelight. There's a lot of good you can do with fame, like creating awareness for a foundation, but a lot of negativity comes along with it ... Vanessa Bryant has clarified comments she made for New York Magazine's story on NBA wives.
Vanessa, who is married to NBA superstar Kobe Bryant, had seemed to suggest she would not want to be married to someone who isn't a winner.
"I certainly would not want to be married to somebody that can't win championships," she said to New York Magazine.
"If you're sacrificing time away from my family and myself for the benefit of winning championships, then winning a championship should happen every single year."
Vanessa now has told TMZ that her comments were taken out of context.
