"Match 13 and we are in the Quarter-Finals where we see Netherlands take on New Zealand.
First Half started off quite even with both teams battling for procession and a limited number of chances were created. Netherland managed to create the first real chance of the game with a penalty corner. However Maartje Paumen's shot was saved by Kayla Sharland and both teams carried on pressing. After a short one minute break, due to the 36 Degrees of Argentinian sunshine, both team resumed but defenses were strong and were hard to break down. Netherland had another close chance to take the lead when Lisanne de Lange picked up the ball and put herself in a good position for a shot but it went wide of the mark. Both teams went into the break both even.
Second Half saw our first goal of the game as The Netherlands took the lead. A mistake by Samantha Charlton lead to a great worked goal when Rosalin Drost worked her way into the D and passed the ball to Lidewij Welten who swiveled round the Defender and her shot went straight pass the keeper into the net. From then on it was all Netherlands creating a number of chances including hitting the bar from a fierce shot by Maria Verschoor. Netherlands met Argentina on day one of the Hero Hockey World League. A hard-fought game with some excellent hockey saw Argentina win.
The Argentine intent was signalled when they took the lead in just the second minute of the game through a penalty corner, which top scorer Gonzalo Peillat slotted away.
The Netherlands responded immediately with an equally well-taken penalty corner from penalty corner specialist Mink van der Weerden (5'). Three minutes later Argentina reclaimed the lead with a diving conversion by Facundo Callioni (8').
The remainder of the first half was quiet in comparison, with both sides taking a cagey approach. And these defensive tactics continued for the first 15 minutes of the second half. It was the Netherlands who broke the deadlock in the second half when Seve van Ass (50') levelled for the Netherlands. The son of the national coach, Paul van Ass, scored with a reverse stick shot from wide left of the goal.
Six minutes later and Los Leones re-gained their advantage when first Pedro Ibarra (56') shot home from open play and then Guido Barriedes (60') scored a beautifully-taken goal following sustained Argentine pressure.
Argentina further extended their lead when they were awarded and converted a penalty stroke. The scorer on was Juan Ignacio Gilardi (67').

Bhumi Pednekar recently appeared in the comedy Thank You For Coming and the film invited some extreme reactions from the viewers. While some praised the film for its bold concept, some shamed it for that. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her. She highlighted the hypocrisy of the situation that people accept objectification of women but have a problem with them talking about their sexuality. You can watch the entire conversation here.
