एक तरफ जहां घाटी में कारगिल विजय दिवस मनाया गया. वहीं महाराष्ट्र से दिव्यांगों के एक दल ने पुंछ जिले के गांव सलानी में शहीद औरंगजेब के घर पहुंच कर कारगिल दिवस मनाया। इस दौरान दिव्यांगों ने शहीद औरंगजेब के माता-पिता को स्मृति चिंह और एक लाख रूपय का चैक देकर सम्मानित किया। इस दौरान शहीद के घर पर तिरंगा फहराया और राष्ट्रीय गान गाकर को औरंगजेब को श्रदांजली दी गई। इस मौके पर दिव्यांगों के दल का नेतृत्व कर रहे नन्ही गुज संस्था के प्रमुख की माने तो आज वे लोग यहां यह दिखाने के लिए आए हैं कि वे सब लोग शहीद ओरंगजेब के परिवार के साथ हैं।

पाकिस्तानी गोले के छर्रे ने रोशन लाल को बना दिया था दिव्यांग और अब खा रहा है दर-दर की ठोकरें।भारत-पाक सीमा स्थित गांव फ्लोरा का रहने वाला रोशन लाल पाकिस्तान द्वारा दागे गए गोले से अपनी एक टांग गंवा चुका है और अब 1000 पेंशन से ही अपने घर का गुजारा चला रहा है । रोशन लाल ने बताया कि सरकार की तरफ से उसके इलाज के लिए सिर्फ 43.600 हजारू रूपए दिए गए जबकि उसका खर्चा करीब 5 लाख रूपए से ज्यादा हो गया। रूपए इकठ्ठा करने के लिए उसने अपनी जमीन एक हिस्सा तक गिरवी रखना पड़ा। अब हालत यह है कि उसका परिवार रोटी-रोटी के लिए मोहताज हो गया है और पेंशन से गुजारा हो पाना मुश्किल हो गया है।
