बुजर्ग अनुभवो का भंडार होते है इन बुजुर्गो ने इतनी लम्बी उम्र तक अनुभवो ला संचय किया है उसका समाज को फायदा उठाना चाहिए .. अक्सर कुछ लोगो को बुजुर्गो से शिकायत रहती है कि वे बात बात पर टोकते है लेकिन वे ये नही समझाते की टोकने की वजह उनके जिन्दगी के उस टोपिक से जुड़े व्यवहारिक अनुभव है .. वेस्ट दिल्ली के कीर्ति नगर के गीता मंदिर में बुज़ुर्गों के सम्मान में ये भव्य कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया है .. कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत हवन यज्ञ से की गयी और इस कार्यक्रम में हजारों लोगों ने भाग लिया। .. कार्यक्रम के आयोजकों का कहना है कि यज्ञ हम उन बुजुर्गों की याद में श्रधांजलि के रूप में करते हैं जो हमे छोड़कर चले गए। वहीं दूसरी तरफ जो बुज़ुर्ग हमारे साथ है उनका हम सम्मान करते हैं। ऐसे 75 वर्ष से ज्यादा उम्र के बुजुरगों को मंदिर की तरफ से विशेष रूप से सम्मानित किया गया।
