चांदपुर नगर के मौहल्ला पतियापाड़ा में पानी की निकासी न होने से जलभराव की स्थिति बन गई है। एक तरफ तो गांधी जयंती के मौके पर सभी नगर पालिकाओं द्वारा स्वच्छता अभियान चलाकर नगर को स्वच्छ बनाने की बात की जा रही है। वहीं दूसरी ओर जनपद बिजनौर की चांदपुर नगर पालिका की लापरवाही सामने आ रही है। चांदपुर के मौहल्ला पतियापाड़ा में कई महीनों से लगातार सड़कों पर पानी भरा है जिससे संक्रामक बीमारियों का खतरा भी बना हुआ है। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि कई बार शिकायत होने के बावजूद भी पालिका द्वारा सफाई व्यवस्था के लिए कोई कार्यवाही नही की जाती। जहां प्रदेश की योगी सरकार लगातार स्वच्छता अभियान पर लाखों करोड़ों रूप्ये खर्च कर रही है वहीं आप साफ तौर पर देख सकते हैं कि चांदपुर नगर में जलभराव की समस्या से लोग कितने परेशान हैं। इस मामले में जब अधिकारियों से बात की गई तो उन्होंने कहा कि जल्द ही समस्या का समाधान किया जायेगा।

मॉनसून के दस्तक देने के बाद जहां दिल्ली में एमसीडी और नगर निगम कि पोल खुली वहीं गाजियाबाद के खोड़ा इलाके का हाल भी कुछ ऐसा ही है... खोड़ा में बदहाल हो गई सड़को पर भरे पानी से लोगों को काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा हैं..पिछले काफी दिनों से बारिश और नाले का पानी कॉलोनी कि सड़कों पर भरा हुआ हैं।
कहने को तो खोड़ा एशिया की सबसे बड़ी कॉलोनी है जहां 2 लाख से भी ज्यादा वोटर हैं... लेकिन नोएडा और दिल्ली से सटे इस इलाके के हालात बहुत बदतर हो चुके हैं... दरसअल यहाँ सड़कों पर पिछले कुछ दिनों से बरसात और नाले का पानी भारी मात्रा में भरा हुआ हैं... जिससे सड़को पर कीचड़ जमा हो गयी हैं...सड़के जगह जगह से टूट गयी हैं और लोगों को आने जाने में भी परेशानियों का सैामना करना पड़ रहा है... बारिश के पानी के साथ सीवर के ओवरफ्लो होने के चलते सीवर का पानी भी इन सड़को पर जमा हो गया है... लेकिन स्थानीय प्रशासन के दफ्तरों के लगातार चक्कर लगाने के बावजूद भी प्राशासन नेइस पानी को निकालने के लिए कोई इंताजाम नहीं किये हैं....जिससे लोगों में भारी रोष हैं.
