अतिक्रमण के दौरान साथी अधिवक्ता को हिरासत में लिए जाने से नाराज अधिवक्ताओं ने आज दीवानी न्यायालय परिसर में जिला जज से मुलाकात करने गए पुलिस कप्तान के साथ न सिर्फ धक्का मुक्की की बल्कि उनके पीआरओ को भी जमकर जूतों से पीटा। इस घटना के बाद न्यायालय परिसर में हड़कंप मच गया और थोड़ी ही देर में पूरा परिसर छावनी में तब्दील हो गया। अधिवक्ताओं ने पुलिस के खिलाफ जमकर नारेबाजी भी की और कल कार्य बहिष्कार करने की भी चेतावनी दी।

गौरतलब हैं कि डीएम और एसपी आज आंख अस्पताल चौराहे के निकट बने सीतापुर क्लब और एक हिस्से में बने रेस्टारेंट पर अवैध कब्जा हटवाने गए थे। इस दौरान उन्होंने रेस्टॉरेंट का हिस्सा जेसीबी मशीन से गिरवा दिया और सीतापुर क्लब पर प्रशासन का ताला जड़वा कर क्लब के दो पदाधिकारियों को हिरासत में ले लिया। क्लब के दोनो पदाधिकारी रामपाल सिंह व ओमप्रकाश गुप्ता पेशे से अधिवक्ता है। क्लब में शराब की बोतलें और आपत्तिजनक चीजें मिलने पर पुलिस ने कार्यवाही करते हुए दोनो को पुलिस हिरासत में लिए जाने से अधिवक्ता उग्र हो उठे और लालबाग चौराहे पर पहुँच कर पुलिस और प्रशासन के खिलाफ नारे बाजी करने लगे। इसी दौरान पुलिस कप्तान प्रभाकर चौधरी जनपद न्यायाधीश से मीटिंग करने के लिए उनके कार्यालय में पहुँच गए। पुलिस कप्तान को न्यायालय परिसर में देख अधिवक्ता भड़क गए और उनसे मिलने के लिए डीजे के चैंबर में जाने लगे। एसपी के पीआरओ ने जब उन्हें रोका तो वकीलों ने जूतों से पीआरओ की पिटाई कर दी और जनपद न्यायाधीश के चैंबर में घुस गए। डीजे के चैंबर में अधिवक्ताओं और एसपी के बीच तीखी झड़प के साथ ही धक्का मुक्की भी हुई। इस घटना क्रम से न्यायालय परिसर में हड़कंप मच गया और भारी पुलिस बल को मौके पर बुला लिया गया। जिसके बाद काफी देर तक वहां पर हंगामा होता रहा। एसपी ने इस मामले में कहा कि विधिक कार्रवाई की जाएगी। दूसरी ओर बार एसोशिएसन के अध्यक्ष ने वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ताओं के साथ पुलिस द्वारा किये गए अभद्र व्यवहार की आलोचना करते हुए कल इस मामले में बैठक कर रणनीति बनाने की बात कही।
