Veteran batsman Yuvraj Singh might be out of favour from the Indian national team but he continues to actively take part in the domestic tournaments. Recently Yuvraj turned up in a friendly match for Air India against the Maldives Cricket team and pulled off a brilliant switch hit to send it out of the park for a six. His shot reminisced the good old days when the swashbuckling southpaw used to send the bowlers to the cleaners with ease.

Yuvraj last played for India in June 2017 in an ODI against West Indies. He turned up for Punjab in the recently concluded Ranji Trophy 2018-19 and has been battling poor form and fitness. However, ahead of the Indian Premier League, where he will be playing for the Mumbai Indians, Yuvraj showed he can still hit the ball as cleanly as he used to during his prime.

In the game against the Maldives, Yuvraj stole the show with his switch hit as he anticipated the length of the ball well and changed his stance. The bowler saw the move and changed his length but to no avail as the left-hander easily launched a terrific shot to get a six.
