The lucky escape, which occurred yesterday in Labinsk, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, was captured on a security camera and showed the pair walking down the middle of a road.
In the footage, a man can also be seen heading in the direction of the camera as strong winds blow the trees situated on the pavement.
The mother and daughter then stop and appear to look at something on their left as the extreme weather begins to pick up.
Suddenly there is movement on the left hand side of the frame as a building starts to crumble, sending debris crashing to the ground.
Reacting quickly, the mother can be seen running forward while pulling her daughter along with her as more of the building starts to fall.
