Statue of Unity a true homage to Sardar Patel: PM Narendra Modi in Mann Ki Baat

Ahead of the country's first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel birth anniversary on October 31, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid tributes to the leader and dedicated a "united India" to Patel's "sagacity and strategic wisdom". "Erected on the banks of river Narmada in Gujarat, the structure is twice the height of the Statue of Liberty. This is the world's tallest skyscraping statue. Every Indian will now be proud to see the world's tallest statue here on Indian soil. Patel, a true son of the soil will adorn our skies too," said PM Modi.
