Watch Railway Minister Mallikarjun Kharge has introduced 72 new trains in the Rail Budget 2014 . These include 17 Premium trains, 38 Express trains, 10 Passenger trains, 4 MEMU and 3 DEMU. Three trains will be extended and frequency of same number of trains will be increased. Following is the list of new trains introduced.

दिल्ली मेट्रो में आपका सफर अब थोड़ा सा खर्चीला होने जा रहा है क्योंकि दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल कॉर्पोरेशन ने किराया बढ़ाने का फैसला किया है। नया किराया बुधवार से लागू होंगे। सोमवार को DMRC बोर्ड ने किराया समिति की सिफारिशों को मंजूरी दे दी। अब दिल्ली मेट्रो में न्यूनतम किराया 8 रुपये की जगह 10 रुपये होगा, जबकि अधिकतम किराया 50 रुपये होगा। फिलहाल अधिकतम किराया 30 रुपये है।
मेट्रो ने किराए के नए स्लैब बनाए हैं जिसके तहत 10 रुपये, 15 रुपये, 20 रुपये, 30 रुपये, 40 और 50 रुपये किराए तय किए गए हैं। इससे पहले 2009 में न्यूनतम किराए को 6 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 8 रुपये किया गया था और अधिकतम किराए को 22 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 30 रुपये किया गया था । अब आपको दो किलोमीटर के लिए 10 रूपए खर्च करने होंगे, जबकि पहले आपकी यात्रा 8 रूपए में ही हो जाती थी....2 किलोमीटर से 5 किलोमीटर तक 15 रूपए, 5 किलोमीटर से 12 किलोमीटर तक 20 रूपए, 12 किलोमीटर से 21 किलोमीटर तक 30 रूपए, 21 किलोमीटर से 32 किलोमीटर तक 40 रूपए, और 40 से ज्यादा किलोमीटर तक यात्रा करने पर आपको 50 रूपए देने होंगे...मेट्रो में ये किराया 10 मई यानी कि बुधवार से लागू होगा
इसके बाद 1 अक्टूबर से मेट्रो के किराए में फिर से बढ़ोतरी होगी....तब आपको न्यूनतम किराया 10 रूपए और अधिकतम किराया 60 रूपए देना होगा.
यहाँ पर मेट्रो ने थोड़ी रहत पीक और नॉन पीक आवर में दी है...नॉन पीक आवर में सफ़र करने पर आपको स्मार्ट कार्ड पर 10 की जगह 20 प्रतिशत की छूट मिलेगी....मेट्रो किराए में बढ़ोतरी ऑपरेशनल कॉस्ट को देखते हुए की गयी है....जो कि कमाई से ज्यादा है....हालाकि इससे डीएमआरसी को पूरी तो नहीं पर थोड़ी राहत मिलने की उम्मीद ज़रूर है

अगर आप दुरंतो, राजधानी और शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस में सफर करते हैं और जल्दी टिकट बुक नहीं करवा पाते... तो ज्यादा किराए का करंट झेलने के लिए तैयार रहिए। जी हां, क्योंकि कल से आपको इन ट्रेनों में सफर करना महंगा पड़ेगा...दरअसल रेल मंत्रालय ने दुरंतो, राजधानी और शताब्दी में फ्लेक्सी फेयर सिस्टम लागू करने का फैसला लिया है..जिसके तहत हर दस फीसदी टिकट बुक होने के बाद दस फीसदी ज्यादा किराया चुकाना होगा. यानी जो यात्री पहले टिकट बुकिंग कराएंगे उन्हें बढ़ा हुआ किराया नहीं देना पड़ेगा, जबकि यात्रा के आखिरी समय में टिकट बुक कराने वालों को ज्यादा किराया देना पड़ेगा. हालांकि फर्स्ट और एक्जीक्यूटिव क्लास को इस फैसले से अलग रखा गया है..वहीं कैटरिंग चार्ज, सर्विस टैक्स, सुपरफास्ट चार्ज अलग से लगेंगे..तत्काल कोटे के टिकट लेने वालों को थोड़ी राहत दी गई है। उन्हें पहले की तरह अतिरिक्त चार्ज की जगह सीधा डेढ़ गुना ज्यादा भुगतान करना होगा।

Rail budget 2014: No passenger fare hike, 17 new premium trains
Watch Presenting the Interim Rail Budget 2014 in Parliament on Wednesday, Union Railway Minister Mallikarjun Kharge announced that 17 new premium trains and 38 express trains would be introduced.

The Railway Minister has however kept both the passenger as well as the freight fares unchanged.

Meanwhile, the Railway Budget presentation was cut short as Parliament was adjourned till 2pm due to interruptions caused by MPs protesting creation of Telangana. Four Union ministers from Seemandhra had stormed into well of the House along with other members over Telangana.

That’s what a French entrepreneur, who’s made millions by connecting engineers with industrial groups, is pitching to Boeing Co. and others. "Link & Fly" is Akka Technologies’s new flagship aircraft design, with wings that come off to hasten turnover at airports and make boarding easier and closer to passengers’ homes.

“After cars go electric and autonomous, the next big disruption will be in airplanes,” Akka’s Chief Executive Officer Maurice Ricci said in an interview in Paris. राजधानी, शताब्दी और दुरंतो ट्रेनों में फ़्लेक्सी फ़ेयर सिस्टम पर सरकार दुबारा विचार करने के मूड में दिख रही है। सूत्रों के मुताबिक, बीजेपी के विरोध के बाद रेल मंत्रालय ने इसके संकेत दिए हैं। साथ ही इस सिस्टम को दूसरी ट्रेनों में लागू नहीं करने का भी फैसला किया गया है। रेल मंत्रालय के अनुसार इन तीन ट्रेनों में यह फॉर्मूला प्रयोग के तौर पर लागू किया गया है और कुछ समय बाद इसकी समीक्षा की जाएगी। यह सिस्टम आज से लागू हुआ है, लेकिन रेल मंत्रालय के इस फैसले का विपक्षी दलों ने विरोध किया है। वहीं बीजेपी भी इस फैसले से ज्यादा खुश नहीं दिख रही। बीजेपी का कहना है कि इस सिस्टम से रेलवे की आमदनी कुछ खास बढ़ने की उम्मीद नहीं है, लेकिन मध्य वर्ग के नाराज़ होने और सरकार की छवि बिगड़ने का ख़तरा ज़्यादा ज़रुर है। हालांकि गुरुवार को पूरे दिन रेल मंत्रालय के अधिकारी इस फ़ैसले का बचाव करते रहे। अपने बचाव में रेल मंत्रालय ने दलीले दी कि हर रोज़ दो करोड़ तीस लाख से ज्यादा लोग रेलवे का इस्तेमाल करते हैं और इन तीन ट्रेनों में बैठने वालों की संख्या एक फीसदी से भी कम है और इसलिए फ्लेक्सी किराए का असर बहुत कम यात्रियों पर ही पड़ेगा। हर दिन बारह हज़ार से ज्यादा रेलगाड़ियां चलती हैं और फ्लेक्सी किराया सिर्फ 81 गाड़ियों में लागू हो रहा है। आपको बता दें कि राजधानी, दुरंतो और शताब्दी ट्रेनों के यात्रियों को अब इस नई किराया प्रणाली के तहत 10 से 50 प्रतिशत तक अधिक किराया देना होगा। इस सिस्टम से रेलवे ने इस वित्त वर्ष में 500 करोड़ रुपए अतिरिक्त जुटाने का लक्ष्य रखा है।
