NTPC Karsada short Film Varanasi

NTPC, India's largest power giant has always contributed to the nation's economy since the last 41 years and its turn around capabilities and proficient team work have been consistently demonstrated in its operational performance in power projects like Talcher Thermal in Odisha, Tanda and Unchahar in UP.

In line with NTPC's strong commitment towards nation building and vision towards a clean India, NTPC has ensured that the solid waste management (SWM) plant at Karsada,Varanasi which was lying in a defunct state for over four years is fully functional now. Non-functionality of the plant led to scattered dumping of garbage and spread of unhygienic conditions in the holy city.

Revival of Karsada SWM plant has brought considerable results and at present organic compost from the solid waste, scientific land filling and restoration of the clean environment in the area has been possible by untiring efforts of team NTPC.
