Hong Kong_ 5,000 personnel deployed as protests against extradition bill intensify

New Delhi: 5,000 police personnel in anti-riot gear have sealed all entrances of the Hong Kong's Legislative Council building, around which the protests are being held. Swathes of protesters took to the streets of Hong Kong continuing demonstrations against a controversial extradition bill which would allow criminal suspects in the city to be sent to mainland China for trial.
