Former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi addresses media in Jorhat

Former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi on Monday claimed that the Central Government had failed in preparing a clear and error final NRC list.

Gogoi held Union Home Minister Amit Shah responsible for the failure, he further claimed that several illegal migrants had now turned into indigenous people of the state which clearly indicates that Central Government had failed to prepare an error free NRC list.

Gogoi also mentioned that NRC will turn into a waste paper, if Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2016 in introduced in the nation.
