: ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಲಬುರಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಆಳಂದ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಭೂಸನೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಲ್ ಗ್ರೂಪ್ಸ್ ನವರ ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆ. ರೈತರ ಕಬ್ಬಿನ ಬಿಲ್ ಪಾವತಿ ಮಾಡದೆ ರೈತರ ಜೀವನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚಲ್ಲಾಟವಾಡುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯವರು ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ನೀಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ನೀಡಿದರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಂಬಳ ನೀಡದೆ ನೌಕರರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯವೆಸಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರ ಹಾಗೂ ರೈತರ ಆರೋಪವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯವರು ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯಿಂದ ಬರುವ ರಸಾಯನಿಕ ಮಿಶ್ರಿತ ಕೊಳಚೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ರೈತರ ಹೊಲಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಮರ್ಜಾ ನದಿಗೆ ಬಿಡುವುದರಿಂದ ನದಿಯ ನೀರು ಕಲುಶಿತವಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ರೈತರ ಜಮೀನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಈ ಕಲುಶಿತ ನೀರು ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬಾವಿಯ ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಆಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ರೈತರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಹಲವಾರು ಬಾರಿ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕ ಕೊಳಚೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ರೈತರ ಜಮೀನುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನದಿಗೆ ಬಿಡೆದೆ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯವರು ಕ್ಯಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ..

ವಾಓ : ಈ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯವರು ಭೂಸನೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಸೇತುವೆ ಹತ್ತಿರವಿರುವ ಬ್ರಿಡ್ಜ್ ಬಳಿ ನಾಲೆ ಮೂಲಕ ರಸಾಯನಿಕ ಕೊಳಚೆ ನೀಡನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ನೀರು ಅಮರ್ಜಾ ನದಿಗೆ ಸೇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಭೂಸನೂರ, ಕೋರಳ್ಳಿ, ಜವಳಿ, ಧಂಗಾಪೂರ, ದೇವಂತಗಿ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಪೂರೈಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ನೀರು ಕುಡಿದ ಜನರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಹಲವಾರು ರೋಗಗಳಿಂದ ಜನರು ಬಳಲುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಬೇಸತ್ತು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದು, ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತಕ್ಕೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು, ಆಗ ರೈತರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯವರ ನಡುವ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಪರಿಹರಿಸುವ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಭರವಸೆಯಾಗಿಯೇ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ.

ವಾಓ : ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯವರು ಬಿಡುವ ಈ ಕೊಳಚೆ ನೀರು, ಪ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರಿ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಜಮೀನುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವುದರಿಂದ ಈ ಜಮೀನುಗಳು ಫಲವತ್ತೆತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆಯ ಇಳುವರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದು ರೈತರ ಆತಂಕಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಕುರಿತು ರೈತರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ, ತಾಲೂಕು ಆಡಳಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಸರ ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದರು ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬರು ರೈತರ ಈ ಕೂಗಿಗೆ ಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ರೈತರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಹಂತದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರೂ ಏನು ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಣ ಮೌನವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ವಾಓ : ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯವರು ಬಿಡುವ ಈ ಕೊಳಚೆ ನೀರು, ಪ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರಿ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಜಮೀನುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವುದರಿಂದ ಈ ಜಮೀನುಗಳು ಫಲವತ್ತೆತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆಯ ಇಳುವರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದು ರೈತರ ಆತಂಕಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಕುರಿತು ರೈತರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ, ತಾಲೂಕು ಆಡಳಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಸರ ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದರು ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬರು ರೈತರ ಈ ಕೂಗಿಗೆ ಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ರೈತರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಹಂತದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರೂ ಏನು ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಣ ಮೌನವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
